9:50 "Would rather get punched in May, than get knocked out in October" Best. Sign. Ever.
Donaldson's headfirst slides into home are some of my favourite highlights
It's up there with Bautista's HR for me, the slide, the moment, the call, the crowd, it's incredible
That shot showing the crowd all raising up their arms as he slid into home is fantastic
Probably one of the most odd but memorable rivalries ever. It's too bad it was so shortlived.
Fax both teams just depleted in their division
Jays are back and waiting. Texas, where you at?
@@obscurereference6298 if we can get rid of jd then we'll be back, we also need semien to do better
@@theeSpAcee the toronto maple leaf fans of baseball. never win, always sure they're close.
@@obscurereference6298 “ jays are back” back to what exactly? Both teams haven’t won a playoff game since 2016.
I wished this Blue Jays team or the 2015 one won the championship. I was rooting for them those 2 years. Look at the camera shaking from the crowd. I can't wait for the next postseason home game the Blue Jays play next. Their crowd is always so loud.
As a braves fan the Jays are the team i root for in the AL
Wonder what happens if Goins doesn't drop that fly ball and Price doesn't shit the bed right after
And well, the Astros won it all.
"Would rather be punched in May than out in October"
Love how it shows Odor's face as it fades out.
Both of those things happened btw
@@jaleeldean8407 🤓 everyone knows it was about Texas specifically
That was the moment Odor realized karma is a b!tch.
I don't know about forgotten but I get what you mean, it wasn't a WS or anything, but I think this is a very memorable game
Totally
This won't be forgotten by any Blue Jays fans believe me
This was the cusp of the Joey Bats era. After that it was just all downhill
I don't think you know what cusp means. 2010 was the cusp, this was the crescendo.
@@matthewdaley746 You MUST be talking about Odor.
@@matthewdaley746 real competition certainly wasn't called the Texas Rangers. And if you came here to advocate for Cleveland or Kansas City then you are desperate for attention.
@@matthewdaley746 So the Royals got justice for something not involving them... Hmm no. Also Odor got justices for sucker punching Bautista. And that did involve him.
@@matthewdaley746 As much as I hate hr or bust its been working around baseball. Or do the Braves not count?
Boy Eck sure jinxed Aaron Sanchez there lmao
The only time a playoff series has been won on a walk-off error
wasnt Bob Mooses wild pitch in 1972 NLCS considered a walkoff error???
@@CutterHistoricalnah, wild pitched aren’t errors
Think about this....
SINCE This Game, The Texas Rangers have NEVER MADE THE POSTSEASON.
In fact... They've never even touched .500.
This aged well 😂
The only close game of this series. Texas was destroyed the first two games.
What’s even more iconic about this series and the overall rivalry was that the Jays got the last laugh and their fans hung the memorable banner “Would rather get punched in May than get KO’d in October”🤣
We never forget.
My favourite playoff series of all-time.
Lol. It was only 3 games. . Go watch the 03 alcs or the 03 nlcs. Both classics. Not going 2 mention any world series cuz there is so many classics. You must be new 2 baseball. Now this game was great. The fans were going nuts. But alds boss that went 3 games.
@@barbarapaparella1833 zzzzzzzzz
@@joeturner9692 lol. They had 1 good game in the series. Lol. I'm assuming your trolling. Anyway this was a great game.
@@barbarapaparella1833 Mute.
"Rather be punched in May than knocked out in October" - a sign at this game
I was there. Nothing like a postseason game in Toronto.
So happy this series is back
Yes u returned feels like a year since u uploaded the last one
This is definitely not forgotten.. far from it
Nice to see forgotten classics returning
9:35 JD was FLYING home
That season's playoffs had TBS' best MLB Graphics by far
I watched it live with my friend Claude Lamarre and some very cheap beer. Great times. 🍻🍻
Odur can throw a sucker punch but can't throw to first.
Watching a crowd in CANADA break the so-called "badass" state of Texas in back to back years is more satisfying than the Jays' 2 World Series wins.
Both these teams had amazing personalities
“Would rather get punched in May than knocked out in October” has to be one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever seen lmao
Both things happened
In terms of Texas Rangers players this was their last game with us ever: Mitch Moreland, Derek Holland, Ian Desmond, Carlos Beltran, and lastly, Colby Lewis. After they left the last remaining player was Elvis Andrus, who got traded to Oakland in the 2021 offseason
gutsy call to head for home, watching live I couldn’t believe he went lol Rogers centre be Loud!
"we came to reign"
and not a game was won
9:51 love it hahaha
I remember this game got criticized to hell thanks to TBS’ shoddy camerawork and graphics. For example, this was the only year of that linear-bar scoring bug, as they’d go back to a rectangular score bug, the current style used from the 2017 postseason-on.
Idk if this is forgotten.
The Rangers' last postseason road loss to date.
Sad. Had to humble myself with this one
As a Giants fan, seeing Aaron Sanchez right off the bat filled me with rage
It makes me sad as a jays fan, his future was so bright.
@@jayden573 If they had 2016 Sanchez in the 2015 ALCS things would have been a lot different.
They messed up badly
joseeee
Do the 2010 ALCS Game 1
First
My dude Arron Sanchez fell off so hard
It’s a shame Osuna is such a dirt bag we could use him rn
You got Giles out of it.
