General travel tips regardless of destination. Photocopy or print a copy of your passport for visual affirmation. Also, scan all your documents to include credit card numbers and who to call if card is compromised or lost and email to yourself. Also, take a photo with your phone of relative docs which are important. This includes you stamped tourist information. Cheers!

I signed taking the luxury buses between cities is a great idea. I just don’t think you need a car in the city. Hence, the luxury buses are a great option between destinations. Thanks for watching the video.
Can you drink the water, do people still get the runs from the water, as in the past ( haven’t been to Mexico in quite awhile) we only drank bottled water then…??

Just wondering if you have advice for a family of 4 adults wanting to stop in Mexico City and then stop at different places along the way to Puerto Escondido. Are there towns that you would recommend to visit along the way? Do you know if renting a car is similar to the USA where you rent a car at one location and then are able to drop it off at a different location with the same company?
My apologies for the delayed response. I recommend getting a driver or if you rent a car, drive during the day. I honestly, don't have any tips between Mexico City and Puerto Escondido. Hope you have/had a great trip.
