Neat video, those motorized dishes would be fun to experiment with. For FTA TV channels you might have to change the LNB. The dish probably has a circular LNB, used for subscription TV. FTA channels require a linear KU LNB.

These sort of things exist here but they are expensive. What isn't expensive is a H-H motor - horizon to horizon...it moves the dish in an arc around the Clark belt. Decent TV satellite receivers will allow you to choose the satellite and will instruct the motor on which position to turn to, using USALS as mentioned.

I remember setting up a Dish antenna in a HOA neighborhood that claimed to not allow them, ( rattle canned it to match arbor vitea plants adjacent to it). When customer was moving, I was confronted by a Karen screaming"you can't put that here!" I replied" I am removing it, you never noticed it for the past 5 years, what's your point, now?" Crickets.

Sometimes it's just possible to twist the LNB. In fact, most LNB holders I've seen have degree marks on them for doing just that.

Gabe, maybe use ffmpeg in a pinch. I'll paste the command below.
    ffmpeg -f x11grab -s $(xdpyinfo | grep dimensions | awk '{print $2}') -i :0.0 -r 30 -c:v libx264 -preset ultrafast output.mp4
This command captures the entire screen at 30 frames per second and saves it to output.mp4. Adjust the -r option for a different frame rate if needed.

A TREE? In the WOODS? Could this mean that Ben Franklin collaborated with Vikings and the Knights Templar to hide Blackbeard's gold?

@@saveitforparts There was a stone found on the beach in the sudo-shape of a triangle. An expert (grad student) on Ancient Egypt said it could be remnants of a pyramid so clearly the Egyptians were on Oak Island at some point. There's only one way to find out: 250, 8" core samples each going 500' deep. They hit water? More secret collapsed tunnels? Next week on Oak Island...
