Y'all's music always makes me just want to move! Love it forever! I am sorry to say that I missed the first part of y'all's set when I went to see Marc Broussard. I was dismissive about an "opening band" and now I have to say that y'all are one of my favorite bands EVER! I am glad that I saw most of your set. It was a great night and I hope to see y'all again!
About 15 years ago I was in Austin at the Driskill Hotel. I heard Austin was the music capitol of Texas living in Mississippi at the time. Walking down 6th St. I heard from quite a distance the only band with brass above all others and found these guys. They looked like they were right out of high school except for the drummer who I believe was perhaps the singer's dad. I never left as they kicked ass then just as the RULE still. AWESOME BAND! I am in Houston and should have a long ago. Keep it coming fellas. But if you guys break up I am going to kick somebody's brass.
Soul and funk @ it's best. These guys are tighter than two coats of paint. Rock on!!!
