We had a tornado warning just Northwest of Bloomington, then another just Southeast. The Bloomington Bubble at work! Still a lot of damage around town, from the reported 72mph winds
This event was a chaotic one for me. First, I went under my first tornado warning, MY area, since 3/28/2020, 4 YEARS. 2nd of all, In the northern half of Ogle County, a 101 MPH wind gust was reported. Thankfully, we’re okay and have power!
There was a tornado that started in East Peoria, not far from Creve Couer! According to the National Weather Service in Lincoln: "The tornado began in East Peoria near Bloomington Road and Pleasant Hill Road. It continued along Interstate 74 toward the north side of Morton where it damaged an industrial complex. The storm then continue toward the east side of Morton near the high school, snapping several hardwood trees along the way. Tornado damage was then documented in rural Tazewell county, mainly north of Mackinaw near Dee Mack Road and toward the American Legion post where siding was ripped off the east side of the building. The tornado appear to lift shortly after that point."

Honestly in Creve couer I think there was an unwarned tornado that didn't get warned until it got to Morton.
