@@CasMoto I want to run the word vet 2024 in glen helen. I watch your videos very often and you are very often on Glen Helen. I want to ask a question . I have 2 options to go to the word vet this year, a 2022 KTM 350 or a 2022 Husqvarna FC450 but with normal height suspension like the KTM. I am a fast novice veteran rider, 47 years old, weighing 210 pounds and measuring 6.1 but I don't know which bike to take because I have never raced in Glen Helen. and I want to know which motorcycle can behave better there because of the hill climbs and other things that I see in your videos. Best regards from Guadalajara Mexico 🔥.

@@MOTOSYMOTOCICLTETAS Very good WorldVet question! There are a couple things to consider between the 350 SX-F and FC450, so bear with me. For fun, the 350 is your best option. Especially if you plan on racing multiple classes and riding three days in a row: Friday practice, racing both Saturday and Sunday motos. As a novice, you will most likely feel stronger later in the motos, and not get as tired. The 350's are more enjoyable to throw around and also rev to the moon, so you can just pin it up the hills and around some of the technical turns.
For best competition results, the FC450 may be your better option. Easier for the starts and to run higher gears for some of the bigger hills the track crew usually implements. At 210 lb. it should also carry your weight a bit better when you make mistakes. However, it will also wear you out faster, so start training now for next November! Highly recommend Dunlop MX34 tires on either bike, and plan on having a holeshot device as it is a dirt starting gate at Glen Helen Raceway. Can't go wrong either way, so bring what you're most comfortable riding and enjoy the racing vacation. Cheers👍

@@CasMoto Good afternoon, I appreciate your comments, sharing with me your experience on a motorcycle. I will have to start training and decide on which motorcycle I will do the word vet event. I was in Glen Helen in 2022 on Tuesday, November 1, I trained that day. I wanted to run the word vet 2022. but I hurt a meniscus in my knee that day. My knee got stuck and my dream of running that year ended. But I did have the opportunity to test a Husqvarna FC450 2019.5 factory that day in Glen Helen. That bike had the ecu remapped by Tokyo Mods. That thing generated very aggressive power, hit hard, had 13/49 gearing. That year I trained here in my city at 5,200 feet above sea level. on my 2019 fc450 with a 13/48 gearing and a twisted development vortex ecu with smoother power. The 91 octane pump fuel here is of lower quality. More altitude and worse fuel equals less power and the 13/48 also softens the power. In Glen Helen, that 2019.5 FC450 bike was too much power for me to do wheelies on the climbs in Glen Helen. A friend from Lancaster California lent me that bike and I had to take it as it came, I just took my suspensions and put them on that bike. I understand what you're saying about a 450 wearing me out at the end of each race. On my vortex ecu there are softer maps that can reduce a lot of power. I will have to think about which bike to choose soon and dedicate myself to training to have fun at the event. Thank you for your help and if you go to the word vet this year I hope to see you there to say hello.

@@MOTOSYMOTOCICLTETAS 14/50 or 14/51 gearing may be just right to mellow out your 450, in conjunction with the optional Vortex ecu settings. Train hard, stay healthy, and enjoy the WorldVet travels!
