I wrote this song with his sister Kristina Morales and what an honor it was to honor Christopher and all soldiers taken far too soon.

As soon as I heard this I thought of my sister and nieces who lost their son and brother in 2006 at the age of 8 he passed away with his dad in a car accident the morning of my dad's funeral. So beautiful I'm still crying.

Mandi, I wrote a comment on one of your other songs but this one just hit me in the feels. My brother died 6 years ago after service in our Canadian army for many years, as a complication of his service, and his death was sudden and unexpected. Our grief as a family has caused great pain to my parents and to me. We miss him terribly and life is so different without him. Thank you and Bless you.
