- Fans always expect idols in the same group to interact with each other like angels. However, though they love each other like siblings, the relationship between them is surely not perfect all the time. Plus, some idols who has a kinda carefree attitude could be considered rude and uncultured. Unfortunately, the following idols that I’m about to mention were all caught up in some serious attitude controversies, as netizens believed they were having inappropriate behavior toward their teammates.

I am a hardcore stayc stan and to anyone having doubt about all this let me clear it up.
Yoon has always said that she loved j's voice from the time they debuted. Even during part exchange she was so excited to get j's part because she herself said that she loved j's part. Same with seeun and sumin. All her unnies adore j so much.
Stayc are gaining popularity and ofc all these accusations starts just to cause chaos to people who barely know them.

In their August 27, 2022 (STAY:SEE #51) KCON behind-the-scenes video at 3:55, when Yoon called J an octopus as part of a pun, J crunched her water bottle and glared at Yoon, who immediately noticed and added that she herself is a squid. The commentary even noted that Yoon went too far ("Oh Yoon" "Detects that something is wrong") and that she saved the situation by calling herself a squid ("I'll let you go").
Stayc is not a bully with J, the girls just play, they support each other so much if you stop to really follow them. stop creating things where you don't have 💀 Those who follow Stayc know that the other members love J's voice, especially Yoon.

Neverland know what's going on between Suhua and Miyeon. They used to be Tom and Jerry especially when Soojin was in the group. The case here was Suhua was sulky when they compete for the previous thumbnail and she was promised to have it this time.(in my mind) on the other hand she is so honest and straightforward. The most interesting thing is she is the first to come to solve members (lovely) fights. Can you remember how Suhua was straightforward while a live when someone was mean to her? She said "It is ok with me but what if u do the same to my other members"
Oh later I saw u had explained thumbnail insident. And I think u have not seen how Yuqi fights in the group. Even with the leader. They are so cool. And I love their cool chemistry.

The Stayc one is really ridiculous, it's so obvious that they are just teasing each other and everyone's being suddenly dramatic just to try cancelling them as they are unproblematic and doing so well recently. If you are a fan and watches Stayc contents you wouldn't make false accusations just because of a random clips that you see online. yeah i watched some v-lives of shuha (she's my bias) and i have to say she doesn't understand the difference between being savage/sassy and being rude/mean. she sometimes says kinda questionable things to fans.

From what I’ve heard, she really gives a lot of rude and questionable replies to fans that I wondered if she even likes her fans so I’m not surprised about the throwing up part.
Like the time where a fan told her to lower the volume of music because they couldn’t hear the members talking and Shuhua replied by saying they should be lowering their phone volume instead. Or another time where a fan asked for Shuhua’s support for her exam, and Shuhua replied with "Just do it by yourself." I’ve seen a lot of savage moments and none of these moments are in my opinion.

Most of these can be the dynamics of female friendship. Especially with girlgroups cattiness should be expected but it is all in good fun like SinB for example who has be long time friends with the person she is accused. Girls bodyshame, girls call each other stupid but when one points out that she is uncomfortable the other one will likely stop. Sometimes it is just miscommunication. There is still a long way to go and this does not excuse the behavior but in asia it is common for people to point out your flaws. There is an unrealistic standard that I myself is subject to my relatives or friends pointing out that I gained weight. These are the same girls who will help me in my hardest times and is on my side. It is a cultural thing and it can be better but maybe what i wanted to say is I understand where this behavior comes from.

@@sanasouou6144 well it is a thing here in Asia... you don’t see each other and you’ve gained weight they say it to your face like “hi how are you? You’ve gained some weight since I last saw you” or when your skin got darker or whiter. It is not just how are you but they say what they notice maybe as a way to assure you that they remember your last interaction. A lot of millennials here in Asia are still guilty of it sort of a “passed on” habit from our elders but the younger ones you barely hear them say such things as they’ve become more sensitive than the previous generation. I hope this makes sense.

@@MiniLinlin blame society. Girls are expected to look and behave in a certain way. When you're pressured since childhood then you carry it as an adult. Girls tend to be catty but again if you make one friend out of all female acquaintance you have then it is fine. I grew up dealing with female family members who are nurturing and some of them really do find flaws in your looks and calling them out is the best way to go. Some will react negatively and some will learn from their mistakes. We're humans and we're still learning.

I've been following IDLE since debut.. and while I like Shuhua boldness and savageness, I agree that she's kinda rude sometimes, and before you simp and fangirl getting angry at me, I know a difference beetween savage and rude

For Stayc and Gfriend, I think netizens are reaching a bit. As for Shuhua, I want to say that she’s a foreigner so she isn’t used to that sort of hierarchy, but it could be her feeling it was unfair as the other members promised.
Don’t excuse Shuhua in regards to the fact that she’s a foreigner cause many idols are foreigners and know the hierarchy in Korea. She learns the language and knows How to use it.

I do think Shuhua is jealous of Miyeon, but not in a way that deserves hate- more like a little sister. You can tell it doesn’t bother Miyeon much, and there’s love between them. Also, Shuhua has redeeming qualities that are worth recognizing.

When will K-netizens learn to stop asking foreign idols to follow all the strict Korean customs when their Korean friends (in this case Miyeon) themselves are perfectly fine with it? First of all, As a Neverland, I know Shuhua does not have attitude! She has a cold persona and one of the savage members of the group. She playful JOKES and . In SinB case, As a Na.V and Buddy,If you watch Queendom 2, SinB calls Sowon for help for the first round of Queendom 2 and Sowon states that she is worried about SinB cause they might think she has attitude cause of her frown. Which kinda states she isnt having attitude problems and JOKES around.
We don't really know what happens behind the scenes. I'm actually concerned for the sake of most idols mentioned (especially J). I sure hope these are only misunderstandings. Wishing all of them well~

Just started stanning Stayc a few days ago. I'm kinda concerned with J too. I hope they're all actually getting along well and that the other members are not actually teasing her.
Don't worry, if you're watching Stayc contents you can see that J is also teasing/mimicking the other members. And also you can see that J and Yoon are actually close and getting along so well.

Not true. Shuhua said 미연언니 (miyeon-eonni) not just 미연 (miyeon). It could sound as if she said 미연이 (miyeon-ni ) but in Korean you subtly shorten two syllables when they sound alike (yeon and eon). If you listen carefully you will hear miyeon~(eon)ni. Please check the claim before putting it in your video please. Korean and Asian cultures are pretty serious about this type of thing you could end up hurting her (but I do agree on other points that she does come off as rude than savage)

Imo i think that's normal for K-pop idols to react like that sometimes. They are people too and they live in a competition which makes them be stressed. A lot of them are just done with losing in front of others fellow group mates. I believe that wanting to win is normal and feeling jelouse sometimes is also normal. In the case of gidle, shuhua may have been rude but she may have felt done with all the favouritism other members receives like more lines and solo activity (i don't remember her getting any kind of promotions during their hiatus). I don't make excuses for her but i believe that if i were in her situation i would react similar sometimes, especially when one of my change to shine is taken.
However, kpop is business and is about who gets the more attention/ makes the more money. For achieving it kpop idol have to compete with their group mates and other idol. So it's normal to get pissed off when you give all you life training and don't get changes to show what you learned which results in you losing the game and all your teenage years for nothing.
I wanna add that what i found ok is having a rude attitude for a while, not bullying or other type of agresivity. I also referred more to shuhua case because I stan gidle

Its completely fine to be straightforward..and we all true neverlands know how much she adores her members! Once in a vlive when she got a hate comment, she read it out loud and said how she saw that soojin got the same hate comment in her vlive..later on she told the person that if she sees them writing this on any of the other members vlive she will get really mad..Its because her members mean so much to her..everyone is calling her rude without knowing the real background..
And also about the stayc one..The members themselves expressed how much they love stayc's voice and in most of the videos the relationship between the other stayc members J is so cute!! There is a big difference between teasing and bullying. Even my bestfriend sometimes teases me sometimes! ..its just a cute way of showing love! Yoon has herself told how she loves J's deep voice and how she always admired her since debut..the other members respect J alot too! The bond between stayc members is beyond beautiful!! Stop creating rumors which don't make sense..

Here is my main concern if you are in a group with good interactions, as time progressess you begin to act as siblings and family there it is normal for them to act informally to each other and maybe they are assumming we all know that by now.

Swiths know that J also teases and mocks her members too ( you know like most friend groups) HOWEVER, J's solo fans only pointed out what they wanna point out making a very uncomfortable situation for STAYC that the company had to publish an official statement. Don't worry though I'm pretty sure you'll never hear Yoon, Seeun, and Sumin mimicking J's voice anymore. You know to avoid controversies from people who know the group for 2 seconds. From what i see shuhua is the peace maker within the group..whenever member quarrel she always say "please don't fight"..shuhua is shy in nature but when she really close with someone she become a little bit childish and immature especially towards miyeon

In my opinion, Shuhua did have an inappropriate behaviour, but however I believe she isn’t truly mean like on purpose. Just as sometimes she tries to act ‘savage’ but however turns out to be quite rude. I’m a neverland but sometimes even I think it’s not right. I really like StayC and I watch a lot of their interactions on UA-cam but even I have noticed that they do make fun of J’s voice a lot to the point that I feel bad for her. I feel like it’s fine to joke around alittle bit but they do it every single time. When it comes to stuff like this, we shouldn’t read into it too deeply but we also shouldn’t brush things off immediately. Could members be joking? Yep. Do we know what happens behind the scenes and how members act with each other without a camera? Nope.
