Get what? That you need yourself? He doesn't preach the Gospel of God. The truth is we are all sinners deserving death, but God in his mercy sent his son Jesus, truly God and truly man, who lived perfect and died in our place for all past present and future sin. Because God is just and mercy, he put our punishment of death on His Son and not on those that believe in him. And because Jesus rose three days later to the right hand of God, we can have life because Jesus conquered death. The only potential you are born with is a curse of sin and death that can only be reconciled by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

When my daughter was 6 she visited me in rehab. It was the first time we had seen each other in 2 years because I went there directly from jail. She didn't recognize me at first and I just remember her looking at me with such questioning, uncertain eyes. A couple days later she told me... " you are so much nicer and prettier than I thought you'd be."
It was bittersweet because I knew she had seen me at my very worst, but it also made me smile because God was bringing her mama back. Her REAL mama...
So, keep your hope, and just know that our children do notice and it makes a huge difference in their lives. 💓

I love this!!!! I use the gym as an analogy... Everyone ask how can I be so happy in these times... I say its simple faith in God.... People doubt and get angry but I tell them it doesn't matter how many times I show up to the gym. If u don't believe in time your body will change or new gains.... And keep going nothing will change. Amen? So keep working. The potential and grip on faith is like the grip on weights... Dont stop!!! Thank you pastor
