My favorite was when Puddy was telling Elaine that she was going to go to hell and she kept telling him that he should care that she was going to go to hell.
@@phxazjarhead .. Yes. He was trying to talk her into stealing her neighbor's newspaper as I recall and since she was already going to hell what's the difference.
It's a perception thing. They had so few actors come back a lot that the few who did seemed to be there A LOT, but that was compared to all the great characters who were only in 1 or 2 episodes. Uncle Leo was only in 14, Wilhelm was only in 11, Mr. Pitt, 7 Mickey, 6 Bania, 6. Etc. And there were only a handful of actors who did more than 5, so those people really stand out more. Putty is one of the greatest though.
Wow, can’t believe Patrick/Puddy only appeared in 9 series episodes of the show yet still had such a huge impact, and is one of the most memorable and enjoyable characters on the show. So glad they brought him back. He’s up there with the best of them for me; George, Puddy, Elaine, Kramer.
As good as Seinfeld was, and it was good, I enjoyed Rules a lot more. Such a cast. Warburton and Spade killed in every episode. And the 2 female leads were as beautiful as any women I have ever seen on TV - plus they both had terrific comic chops. Hudson was okay but his role kinda squeezed in between everybody else.
Putty was great. Good writing, but Mr. Warburton made it great. Love the issue of believing in God when he says to Elain "Well, I'm not the one going to hell". And the classic "I don't know any monkeys that can take apart a fuel injector"
There's a scene where Jerry is on the pay phone with Elaine, and Puddy (Patrick) can be seen at his desk in the background staring blankly into space. Priceless.
Patrick, is a very nice guy met him twice, once at Whole Foods 20 yrs ago and at a gas station same city. He is very funny. Easy 6’ 4”. Tall guy. He either is Puddy or Jeff Bingham because his cadence and manner when he speaks is exactly like that it was all I could do not to laugh.
I would imagine that Jerry is someone who really enjoys sitting around and eating at diners. I mean that was a big part of his show. Myself I would rather eat at a diner than a big fancy restaurant.
@@joemckim1183 That's pretty much his "Coffee in Cars With Comedians" show. (aside from the cars) He chats with comedians in diners and it's pretty good.
His relationship with Elaine was so great. How they kept breaking up and getting back together. And then when she discovered he was a Christian, and didn't care if she went to hell, omg. And they went to talk to a minister about it.. Actually was a much bigger fan of Rules of Engagement, where he was the cornerstone of the show.
The episode where Puddy sells Jerry his car was a good one. I occasionally quote the "additional overcharge" bit. One of my random favorites is the germophobe episode, when Puddy helps Kramer install a garbage disposal in his bathtub.

Puddy was easily the funniest side character on the show. That episode where he and Elaine break up on the plane, get back together, and then break up moments later all because he’s staring at the back of the seat. 😂
In my opinion, Frank, Newman and Puddy are far and away the best supporting characters in the show’s entire run. All three of them were absolute scene stealers.
1:28 that's right, I almost forgot they were starred together in Bee Movie, Jerry Seinfeld was the voice of the voice of the main character, Barry, and Patrick Warburton was Ken

The vacant stare at the back of an airline seat while Elaine fumes was priceless.

Also, his usual zone-out look is like magnified 10x while he's waiting for Elaine to finish speaking.

The man with the voice who gave us so many laughs. So many memories.
