I always wonder seeing the current youth stuck to Smart phone boxes listening to scrap music , whether our heritage is going extinct after our generation that is in its 55-60s.. Today after listening Uthara.. I am assured by The Lord MahaDeva that it is not the end. it is reviving.. God mahadev Bless Utthara and her class of people with immense Vedic and Indian Classical music.

Thanks for reproducing the lyrics in Telugu. Fr decades I have complained that it is not "kolu" but "koluvu". Unfortunately, many singers ignore this detail and even beautiful rendition is rendered subpar because of inaccurate enunciation.

But as far as this Tyagaraja Keertana is concerned, I feel the Keertana starts as BANTUREETHI KOLUVU IYYAVAYYA RAMA......, but sung as BANTUREETHI KOLU VIYYAVAYYA RAMA...... Even Legendary SPB sir had said in one of his PAADUTHA THEEYAGA Program called RAAGADEEPIKA where he corrected participant on this song pallavi lyric. The Program happened in Mysore Sri Datta Swamiji Ashram. He himself had sung this song in a Movie TYAGAYYA. I hope you can watch and make a note of it.

@@gokul6582 probably you don't know Telugu. That's why you are saying so. Telugu has it's own words. Of course, there will be words similar in other languages. I know Tamil, it's there for Tamil also. Many words are borrowed from Telugu, Sanskrit etc. Actual Tamil language does not have the alphabet like Ha, Ksha etc. Are you not using those now? Example, words like Ursavam, Amavasai etc (Uthsavam, Amavaasya) are borrowed from Telugu and simplified to suit to your diction.

Thanks for reproducing the lyrics in Telugu. Fr decades I have complained that it is not "kolu" but "koluvu". Unfortunately, many singers ignore this detail and even beautiful rendition is rendered subpar because of inaccurate enunciation.

BANTUREETHI KOLUVU IYYAVAYYA RAMA......, but sung as BANTUREETHI KOLU VIYYAVAYYA RAMA......
Even Legendary SPB sir had said in one of his PAADUTHA THEEYAGA Program called RAAGADEEPIKA where he corrected participant on this song pallavi lyric. The Program happened in Mysore Sri Datta Swamiji Ashram. He himself had sung this song in a Movie TYAGAYYA. I hope you can watch and make a note of it.

I really wonder, how saint Tyaga Raja could pen all Kritis in Pure Telugu, by not influenced by single Tamil word, though he was living in Tanjore, Tamil Nadu
Without tamil how would telugu even exist? Seperate tamil from telugu and u will be left with Sanskrit and Hindi.
@@gokul6582 probably you don't know Telugu. That's why you are saying so. Telugu has it's own words. Of course, there will be words similar in other languages. I know Tamil, it's there for Tamil also. Many words are borrowed from Telugu, Sanskrit etc. Actual Tamil language does not have the alphabet like Ha, Ksha etc. Are you not using those now? Example, words like Ursavam, Amavasai etc (Uthsavam, Amavaasya) are borrowed from Telugu and simplified to suit to your diction.
