Dee is an honnest and trustable guy, he doesn't play any games of fame, that's why I like him. He is down-to-earth, cool and serious, at the same time. Twisted Sister was among the bands that revolutionnized rock and metal in the eighties, and I still listen to their albums up to this day, and the excitement I go through is still the same as in those days. Dee is a terrific frontman. I WANNA ROCK forever !

I'm a metalhead and a Portuguese immigrant in the UK and Dee Snyder hits the spot with his grandfather story. Respect 🤘

This is a great interview. Thanks for posting. I've been a fan of Dee since 1984. Even after college and the Army, I still always had a soft spot for him. Nice to see an older and wiser Dee Snider.

Dee, you never ever give any love to Tom Werman who produced Stay Hungry. He is very much responsible for the success of that record yet is always left out of the conversation. Give credit where credit is due Dee.

Dee Snider had a large part of the responsibility in the success of "Stay hungry": Tom Werman did not want to include "We´not gonna take it" and "Iwanna Rock" because he said they were very children's songs, and Dee Snider convinced him to include those songs (Which are undoubtedly key to the success of the album). Later Tom Werman was saying that he produced the album that catapulted Twisted Sister to world fame, but he does not clarify that he began by refusing to include those songs.

I'm new to Twisted Sister. I've always liked We're Not Gonna Take It but Burn in Hell is literally my favorite song right now lol this guy seems like a cool dude. I watched dude forget the name of his own song on stage and it's cool to see he doesn't buss ppls balls for making human mistakes. Shout out to Dee

Dee Snider is literally Sociopathic behavior... The fake fun charm and the linguistic distractions and the "calm" demeanor. My older brother is an absolute Sociopath and he often talks about Dee Snider.

I have to agree with what he says about rock bands. The big thing seems to be the negative angst ridden black music which doesn't offer much except nihilism. Anger and hate.

The way Trump spoke about illegal immigrants was crass but he wasn’t talking about asylum seekers like Sniders grandfather. He was talking about the criminals that are pouring into America. It’s the way Trump says things and not whether it’s true. I get why some people don’t like him. You have to be able to see past some of his crass behavior and understand what he is actually saying before you really understand what he’s about. He’s not anti-immigrant he’s anti-illegal.
