You can use this same technique for a deck switch and also a sausage switch. Give it a try.

Naturalism is so important (for me) in magic. I always prefer a tenkai when possible but it gives more freedom to keep your fingers “natural”

I had the same idea at the end when I was jammin with some magicians yesterday. Except you steal their card first and then force the same card from your deck. Switch. Then you can ask them to find the card from their deck. When they can’t find it. You reveal the face up card. Great for jams.
