Big Bang is the one that popularized hiphop in korea. They're the ones that stamp hiphop on the mainstream. Hiphop in korea used to be just an underground genre and even though some have attempt to put it on mainstream such as 1TYM, they were not as successful with it as how BB did. That is why BB was/is considered trend setters. Not to mention their impact on fashion as well and other things..

Doing a Big Bang marathon.... this old school beat is golden. Older Big Bang songs are more R&B and hip hop which highlight the 3 vocalists, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri while GD and T.O.P rap. Seungri had more lines back then cuz his voice suit more of their style. BB will always be 5!

Back when he was a trainee, he would write two songs a day, because papa yg said so. And he still has the habbit of doing so, so I wouldnt be suprised if that number is close to 1,000, because not every song he writes is used. Also some are written by top too, i dont remember about the rest but top has written quite a few
I know T.O.P writes most of if not all of his parts in songs. The only song I know he wrote off the top of my head is 'A Good Man' from the Stand Up album. (Not saying he hasn't wrote any other songs, that's just the only one I can remember ^^)
