I just started Bayo2 in anticipation of the 3rd game releasing later this month. I’m surprised to find so little content, combo guide on the game. Even though your guide isn’t on combos but I really appreciate your commentary on the thought process in executing your moves. Hopefully, you will be making new contents for the 3rd game as well. Bravo. Excellent video and very handy tips. Autofire at the boss and wait for the witchtime! I was trying to combo at range then dodge offset but my timing isn’t good enough to do both. Your way is much less risky.
If you hold taunt between the Compassion wave and the Urbane, you can preserve your combo score between the two. It's somewhat difficult to time right, but definitely doable.

This is some great stuff! It's also nice to have the 60 FPS, since Bayonetta always looked a little anemic on UA-cam before this. There are additional weapons in the game other than the main ones during a first playthrough. You can get Scarborough Faire and Shuraba (from the first game) by buying the Super Mirror (which you need to beat the game on 2nd Climax to purchase). Beating the game on 3rd Climax unlocks the Chain Chomp, which is a leg-only weapon that has some other unique affects as well. I am curious, though: did you use any accessories for this run? I'm going to assume not, but lacking a parry makes this pretty impressive.

There is a bit of a hack. If you make the mistake that ruins the individual fight score, pause and restart. You'll go back to your recent autosave and can try again at the fight.
This is old, but I would not bother with score on a first playthrough. Heck, I don't even know if I'd recommend going straight for platinums on a second playthrough unless you're ready for pain.
you were incorrect when you said that you had to restart the level if you messed up in the 2nd part of the boss fight if you use rosa and the accessory that auto taunts enemies then you can build up enough of a combo to get the platinum rank and beat the boss in time
Great video! I might have taunted before the mid-boss to keep my combo going on verse 10, but its not like you need the points anyway lol how's your game coming along? I was looking forward to it this year, then I saw "Coming 2015" on the site and tears streamed down my face inexplicately
It's coming along very well. It's been delayed because our financial situation is way better than we thought it would be. So just cramming in more game! HANG TIGHT

UGH yeah I just keep a hidden verse guide up when I'm going through the chapters, missing them is the worst. Glad you liked the video!

For sure! I didn't want to spoil all the weapons, so I stuck with the cores until after the recording.

Do you have any advice for the other characters I feel that I'm having a way tougher time with Jeanne than any others.
Pretty amazing! One question: How do you reset to the last save point if you get hit? Do you need to go the main menu and select continue?
Yeah! If you hit continue it will put you at the autosave before the verse starts.

You cannot. The PP chapter rank comes from a PP rank in every single verse.
