I got a little lost when trying to remember where the first Alfheim was... I'll probably start editing out dull sections like that in future chapters.

This game is easy to pick up but hard to master.
This game is just hard
you must know that bayonetta has a very high skill ceiling and quite high skill floor, while bayo2 has a lower skill floor with a lower skil ceiling. so there’s a definite difference but bayo 1 isn’t THAT hard tho. bayo 2 is much easier for beginners. NSIC bayo 2 is about equivalent to hard mode bayo 1.

@@applepussy7788 I wish this was the case for me too honestly Haha as a casual player. I'm aware that what you said is how the combat system actually works in the series, it is just toned down in the second game and has its balance so focused on Witch Time. But combat system did not play the role for me when it came to the games' actual difficulty. For me Bayo 2 had a lot more harder enemies and bosses than 1 and generally the way it played around those enemies. The only enemy type that made me feel like Dark Souls in Bayo 1 was Gracious and Glorious. I played only Hard mode bayonetta 1 and Expert mode bayonetta 2 to be fair, obviously it is going to be harder on infinite cliimax with different enamy placements. But oh boy, in bayonetta 2 I got a lot of trouble, many bosses were just unbeatable for me without perfect dodges because they did not allow me to hit them unless I entered witch time. There were many enemies that acted similar to Gracious and Glorious, so it wasn't just one enemy type anymore.
I'm happy that the two umbran trainees in the flashback didn't die in this gameplay
Whenever I go to that flashback I don't go to where they are because I don't wanna see them die hahah
I can’t even get pure platinum on the easiest difficulty, really showcases how little skill I have
a trick to beat fortitudo quicker is to just stand at the starting so he will only shoot fireballs and just reflect them back with the moon of maha kala

@@cheryl9809 nope. it will actually give you more combo points as the fireballs are stronger than normal attacks and will cause him more damage. if you perfectly parry them you will also get more combo points and i'm not certain if on non-stop climax you get witch time when you perfectly parry attacks, but in any other difficulty you do and you'll have time to do some combos too
I always just spun the control stick after witch timing to rack up the damage
Speaking from experience yes parrying the fire balls is faster and gets you more combo points. I got 2000 without gaze of despair, and this guy got 1560 WITH gaze of despair
I have some tips for this game for anyone needing practice.
1. Learn most combos
2. Practice on Angel slayer chapter
3.Try to anticipate the enemy always or keep some distance
4.Learn some functions like dodge offset, and holding a combo button in panther form to carry on the combo after getting out of the way. I like to tap the dodge button at least 3 times to make sure it works better. :)
If you've unlocked angel slayer, you're already pretty far into the game

Think he meant practice on the lost chapters, they are good at upping the ante and will let you fight easy to hard quicker
additional tips:
*extend combo scoring as possible
*angel weapons can do high scoring
*if youre too far from enemies taunting can extend combo or use tap hold guns

When you play Bayonetta you just learn to literally see every little molecule on the screen and microscopic spec

non-stop climax is actually easy for me, you just don't have witch time. hard mode is fucking sick, the enemies won't stop attacking for a second

I needed only 35 hours to start my pure platinum run. But I started Bayonetta after full S rank DMD in DMC 5, so it depends on your experience.

SPARTACUS Really late reply, but the moment you get hit if you have the "Bat Within" technique you can get away with very little damage ;D
-123 damage adds up at the end of every verse for the amount of times an alfheim was failed, even if no damage was taken through the chapter

Yep, I'll start working on a pure platinum run of Bayonetta 2 once I unlock everything. I'll probably do the same for The Legend of Korra in the meantime.

but that dragon that eats a boss at the end how can you summon him. then you can always eat a boss or it can change the attack. pls respond
its an infernal demon. they are ultra strong but you may only call them to help you at the end of the battle . meaning they are gonna finish off the big toughest angels.
practically once you have the boss's hp all the way down an option appears on screen to press 2 buttons at the same time and u summon the demon. after that while he is eating the angel you have to spam one button to keep the demon at your side and get bonus money. also the demons are supplied by bayonettas hair .
if you look closely there is a portal behind her through which she channels her hair.

Sonny Firestorm you have to smash the button the game indicates . for example in xbox you can see the blue "x" button . you have to press it as many times as you can . if by the end of the timer you managed a full "witchy" circle , you get the bonus standard halo amount . the witch circle is the only user interface displayed during finishing bosses , or climax if you prefer .

You're stuck at whatever health you have. If you want the max, find those hearts.

This is None Stop Infinite Climax Mode. It is only one step above Hard in the select menu but we all know it deserves a spot much, much higher ...
I think its the same as hard mode

guys.. he has 23M of money XD ofc he will do platinum haha .. I can barely get 100k so it seems Im at the beginning of game and can get only silver reward max XD
well yeah that's easy to tell,but the problem is when theres loads of enemies and things like grace and glory around you,even if you know something is coming that doesn't mean you can stop it. Don't get me wrong though,im not some rage gamer,im not trying to be a master at anything,its just for fun anyway. playing at a regular platinum level is fine for me,but pure platinum is just to strict,lol,one scratch and its start over. hope bayonetta 2 at least has a chapter redo option

Impressive, but the gap in the video when running past the gates of hell the second time devalues the validity of the run.
What gaps? Could you leave some timestamps? If you are talking about the cutscenes being "cut" while playing, it's actually the cutscene being skipped by pressing "Select" + "Left Trigger" (on Xbox 360) without the need of going through the menu.
Nevermind i saw it at the first GoH scene, haha. Perhaps they cut it because that part wasn't relevant?
