Due to copyright issues, some of Patsy Cline's music has been taken out of the current version of the documentary.
Maybe upload it without music part of the spoken part is missing because of the stupid copyright
Some? Half the video is like watching a silent movie.
that is terrible that I can't watch her sing in this
Horrible documentary.. can’t hear hersing. Don’t waste your time watching this show
Ahh. Ty
Patsy’s voice can’t be touched, there’s a depth and feeling behind her songs, that no one else has. She took country music to another level and made everyone give it the respect it deserved.
Yes❤
Agree ❤
I'm 68 years old now. I grew up with rock and roll. You know, the Beatles,Rolling Stones and on into psychedelic music and hard rock. Never cared at all for country music, not at all.
But one day, must have been in the '80s, I was sitting in a car with the radio playing when Sweet Dreams Of You came on. I felt literal chills run up my arms! I turned to my friend and said "Who the hell is THAT?"
"PATSY CLINE" Now i knew.
I immediately went out and bought a copy of her greatest hits. I'm in awe of her voice and have been s fan ever since.
I am thé same age and french and it happened thé same to me and never stop to listen to her songs and very glad to watching this video
Nobody can sing “ l fall tp pieces” like -Patsy Cline. She sings the song from her heart and that makes the song come to life.......that is the difference.
@@acortez1004
❤️❤️❤️ Totally agree
Nobody can beat her voice! She’s the greatest female singer of all time! Her voice is utter perfection!
I hear you- I’m 69 and the closest I got to country was southern rock. My parents were into Big Band, Musicals, Classical, and opera. No country music allowed in our house. Then I moved to Houston in 1980 at the height of Urban Cowboy. Where I worked, it was all country music all the time for the most part. I’ve developed a great appreciation for country music, old and new, over the years. But when it comes down to it, I’m still a classic rock girl at heart✌️
I almost didn't click on this, but I'm so glad I did. I've seen other Patsy Cline documentaries, but this one is exceptional. The personal testimonials from friends, fellow singers, husband and daughter really made the difference. I was shedding tears during her music performances. Patsy's voice, and songs, really pierce your heart. The people, who knew her, are so lucky to have known her. She must have been such a great and fun friend to be around. We are so lucky to have her music to this very day. Rest in peace, Miss Patsy Cline.
I am 56 years old I still love her music she's one of the best singers in the world😊
And at 82 I feel the same way.
@@467-k1m
Same here! When I was little I felt like this was old people music, but at 56 years old, I'm not old but I do understand the lyrics and admire this woman Patsy Cline!
I am 56 too 🎉
61…yo here
I’m 67 and Patsy is one of the few artists that gives me goose bumps. When they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said I wanna sing like Patsy Cline. She’s truly one of a kind.
she sounds like a lot of female country singers
@@tonyjeff9436You mean a lot of female country singers try to sound as good as Patsy Cline. Never exact replica's because Patsy was a one of a kind.
I am 47 and I still get goosebumps when I hear Patsy Cline sing too.
Me too, her and KD Lang
@@tonyjeff9436um, WHO is as good as her?
The song in the beginning of this is NOT HER, if you listen they're singing ABOUT HER
I can't find the words to say how wonderful Patsy was. She is an EVERGREEN.
I love Patsy Cline that voice was so beautiful ,her and Loretta Lynn both had hard up bringing and early life , but poor Patsy was gone far to young gone but not forgotten
I was born the year after her death,I've always been a fan,she was quite possibly the greatest female vocalist I've ever heard.
I'm a fan 😢
I have always loved Patsy! My Dad played her records often when I was a little girl. One of my favorite childhood memories is of my parents dancing to "Walking after Midnight". I still get chills to the opening strains of "Sweet Dreams". There will never be another Patsy Cline!
What a great comment! God Bless You and Yours...
She is played by Beverly D'Angelo in the movie, Coal Miners Daughter. Her and Sissy both did all their own singing, and were wonderful. Spacek won an Academy award.
Where's the button to give TWO thumbs up?
Awesome video! Made me laugh, made me cry [true fact], made me sing-along...
Patsy Cline, RIP, and God Bless her family and friends...
It's sad to see such little response to this documentary. There'll never be another legendary Patsy Cline.
9/20/24 Check the stats now, I think you'll feel a little better. It's kind of up to us that grew up with her music still playing even after she was gone, to keep her memory alive. I was 3 years old when she did Walkin after Midnight. My parents were fans, I don't remember not knowing that song.
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT FOR SURE 😢!!!
PATSY CLINE IS THE LOVELY LADY WHO GOT LORETTA LYNN IN THE LEDGENDARY GRAND OLE OPREY!!!
Because people just accept what is marketed to them. Real artists don't need auto tune or smoke and mirrors
I'm 56 and didn't go a day or two before her Lovely Voice was filling my House! Gone but NEVER FORGOTTEN!
One really gutsy woman, who sang like an angel. She did have a lot of integrity and stood up for fellow people in the music industry.
I loved her . . .
My great-grandmother was Patsy's cousin and lived with them when she was orphaned. I wish I had met her and Patsy but they passed before I was even born. I sure love the music.
Wow! Very cool and a unknown detail in your comment. Never knew that she was an orphan. How sad. But what surprises me more is that you are related to her and you got so few responses. Patsy's music is endless and timeless and like many people have said, you can feel her in her music even today. My father was a fan of her music so I got the opportunity to hear her music a lot when I was young and all through my childhood. My Dad is gone now but I am transported to those times when I was young and with my father almost every time I listen to her music. And sometimes I can even feel my Dad while listening to one of her songs.I never met Patsy Cline but through her music I feel I have. What a beautiful lady she was with an even more beautiful soul.
@@sandratussey2624
I don’t believe Patsy Cline was an orphan, as she moved back in with her mother after her (Patsy’s) divorce. I think @janelle76 meant that her great-grandmother was Patsy’s cousin and, when orphaned, went to live with Patsy..? That’s how I interpreted it, anyway.
@@SapiophileGoddess Yes, That was my interpretation also!
Mine also. How cool to be related to a legend
I'M 60 YEARS OLD AND PATSY CLINE HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY IDOL AND I WILL ALWAYS MISS HER SO MUCH 😢 😔!!!
I'm not a country music fan but her voice is captivating and I just want to listen to her sing. ❤
Best thing I've ever seen on Patsy Cline! My mother was a huge fan (as am I) so I've been listening to her since I was a girl (in the late 70's). She was a beautiful woman & just a phenomenal singer who was taken from us too soon.♥
Awesome documentary that really captured the true essence of Patsy. Thank you 🙏🏼 for sharing with the world.
This is the best Patsy documentry. Ty to her family sharing their story.😊
Patsy will ALWAYS be the empress of country music. No other female country music singer can equal, much less, surpass her voice. Furthermore, she opened doors for female singers in the industry no other woman can claim to have done. Every woman in the business since Patsy owes her a debt of gratitude. She could silence the angels out of envy and respect.
What a beautiful way to honor patsy Cline I love this one ! God bless you Patsy .
Amen from me . . .
Yes, God bless Patsy She gave us so very much,.
What a treat to watch this documentary. Patsy's daughter is a woman of such warmth and with a heartfelt appreciation of her whole family, it must have been so hard to have lost her mother so young. Patsy gave 110% and we are the richer for her having sung as she did, one can only wonder where her singing career would have evolved given more time. What a gem.
Boy , I'm impressed she rose to the top that quickly...and rightly so...❤
It took years...made no money from Walkin After Midnight..4 yrs later I Fall to Pieces..things finally started to look good
.but she almost died in car accident in June 14, '61...the rest they say is history...but she had worked non stop!
I still play Patsy's CD"s regularly and shed the odd tear while listening. Just ❤ her
such an angelic voice gone too soon. a voice like hers shall not pass this way again
❤❤❤Patsy Cline! Beautiful voice! Heard her once and became a fan! 😁
I was born September 8th 1968. And she has been my favorite since I was a little girl. 56 this year.😊
I'm 54 and can't stop listening to her my daddy meet her ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a lady..just love her...my mother played her music i was tiny but i remember her..❤
Absolutely beautiful woman and her voice stunning 🙏💜🥰🌹 Rest Easy Beautiful Queen
Thank you for sharing this amazing video about Patsy Clyne,an angel with a voice and heart of gold. Her daughter is amazing and beautiful like her mother, a wonderful blessed woman.🙏🏽❤🤩
What a AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL VOICE!
I savored every second of this lovely presentation....it radiants love and respect for a woman who really deserves it. Yes, sometimes just the breath or the sigh makes her voice sound very near and close. Her singing offered such pleasure and warmth like a close friend you enjoy having in your life. I carry a piece of her in my heart at all times. Rest in peace you wonderful woman 😢
What a girl what a girl I love her miss her so much. I love singing to her songs, but singing her songs. Her songs makes me cry, but I love it.
That Documentary was very interesting and enjoyable!
I have loved this woman for so long…her music is such a soothing sound sung from the heart. ♥️
I remember when I was growing up in the ‘80’s and my momma would pull out her Patsy Cline records and play them at night, especially after a break up. Her voice was just so beautiful and sad and even at that young age, she was touching my soul. I still listen to Patsy to this day ❤.
My mom loved Patsy Cline and most all the other country singing women of those days. I grew up in the 60s and 70s and I remember her and Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton the most. We watched the Buck Owens show on every Saturday night. I loved sitting with my mom and sister and singing along. Or singing along with mom on the car radio to Patsy. Crazy is my favorite song by her. I also loved Walking After Midnight. So happy to have seen this, it brought back a lot of memories.😊❤😂
Why am I just now seeing this!?!? My grandma sang Patsy to me when I was a baby... I'm about to be 41 and I still sing her songs and even when cleaning or whatever I'll play Patsy's hits on UA-cam. Fly high beauty! (Grandma as well)
❤❤❤Beautifu[,with a voice like no other!!Thank you for this!!!Wish I could have met her
I discovered Patsy Cline from the movie Sweet Dreams starring Jessica Lange. Been a fan ever since.
I always watch that movie and Cole Miner's Daughter around Thanksgiving. It seems like that time of year they always show it😊

I love both movies too, very good actors in both.
Timeless ❤
I’m 71 and still had her cd from
Sweet dreams movie her music
Was played in our home ❤❤
We also loved
Linda Rostand😂😢😮
My Mother and myself talked about Patsy & her music shortly before she passed,
So it is a comfort to watch this. My mother was a very strong woman just like Patsy. RIP both. 🤗🌹
My daddy love and meet her she was one of a kind I still listen to her now
This is a wonderful documentary, thank you! ❤
Ooh what a crazy world 🌎 we're livin in. True Love has no chance to win. Awmen Patsy ❤ 🙏 🎵
I never really liked country music until I heard This Lady named Patsy Cline sing. She raised the bar so high that rhey had to throw it away. She is definitely the 🏆💎👑👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🌍👸 the QUEEN of country & so much more. Thank you for posting. Love rhis lady & what a voice. Arnold Bourbon Amaral. To me music is like breathing.
The voice of America
An incredible talent gone far too soon.
Simply one of the best, if not the best female vocalist ever.
There will never be another female vocalist in any genre of music that will ever come close to replicating that incredible once in a lifetime singing voice she possessed.
It is was simply otherworldly.
I had fallen in love with Ms. Patsy Cline from the first time I heard her sing. I am so glad this documentary came across my feed. And to think I was going to save it to watch later. Shoot, I'm gald I changed my mind and played it immediately. I wondered the type of person Ms. Cline was and too listen to the interviews of those who knew her was insightful. The Willie Nelson interview was definitely eye opening cause I had no idea he had written a song that he'd given to her. It's one of my favorites. I sing it for Karoke. I didn't know at what age she was when killed in that crash but I imagine her singing with Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton had she lived. What a great show that would have been. ❤
I don't know why the lord sends us an angel like her then takes her away and it's like your just standing there and saying to yourself what just happened, my lord the most beautiful voice and then just gone, R.I.P. Patsy.
you're not the only one that wonders that.
She wad a pistol and took no shit from anybody. Her voice was amazing. One of the reasons why i first started listening to country music. Still love her .
In the 1990's I worked in Tucson AZ. My husband worked in Southern California until he retired. I would frequently drive to CA on a Friday night after work to spend time with him. I would often take my 6-7 yo grandson with me. Into the CD player would go a Patsy Cline! He and I would sing along. Then he grew up! He was with a friend as I remember, Patsy came on the radio. He was singing along. Friend wanted to know how he knew her songs. He explained and shared our memories.
I'm now 83 and still LOVE her music 🎶. When she sings it's with such feel, you believe every word she days.
I semi remember the day we heard her plane went down. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. We were ALL DEVASTATED!
God Bless Patsy and those that perished with her. She's singing in the Angel Choir now. 🙏
EXCELLENT DOCUMENTARY!
😢❤
I grew up listening to patsy cline And I still enjoy the music to this day78. She died a year before I graduated from high school. We were all shocked It was heartbreakingI have Subscribed. I will look forward to more stories in the future Thank you for this 1
Terrific uniquely sounding voice. Angel Patsy.
A restaurant i worked in as a teen (now 58) played Patsy Cline continuously... good jump back in time every time i hear her
Such huge loss❤❤❤debbie
Pasty cline is way before my time. But she is a timeless angel who is the one person I wish I could meet
Elvis Presley and Patsy Cline
two of a kind & they were extreme artist
Very much alike !
I agree!
How can you say Elvis was ranked anywhere near the genius of Patsy Cline? They were never even similar. Elvis was King of Nothing, a despicably obese character who ate himself to death on peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
What a voice. Patsy Cline passed away when I was just a baby, but I'm a fan today. She had fans who weren't usually country Western lovers, like me. Walkin' After Midnight is my fav.orite.
: Mine too!❤😊
Loved Patsy! She was the best❤️🇨🇦
I am so happy I found you! I love the crafts you made. I don’t know why the people are complaining about the music, I love the music. It is lighthearted and goes great with your video.
This is real country music!
My mother was a country girl, she moved to the city at age 17, lost her southern drawl so, few people knew she was from the south...but she was so spunky and scrappy...I feel as though Patsy Cline was spunky like my mom...she really reminds me of my mom. My Uncle's girlfriend came to live with us (from the south.) I can still see her singing Patsy Cline songs to the radio while she ironed..funny..I still sing Patsy Cline songs for people living in retirement homes...they remember Patsy and still love her the most. (They do love Elvis too)
Even today her music is beautiful
The first album my brother bought was Country with Patsy Cline singing Stop the World and Let Me Off. I was 12 Wow, I keep singing it over and over. Still my favorite female artist ever.
It's a shame that YT put a copyright in this amazing documentary about Patsy, but no in another like urban "music" that are so awful.
What an awesome documentary. Her daughter is so well spoken.
I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU PATSY CLINE AND MAY YOU R.I.P. MY DEAREST FRIEND AND YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART ❤️ 💙 💜 💖!!!!
One of the best singers to ever exist in my opinion✨❣️
Loved her, still do. Her daughter is beautiful.
What a beautiful voice ❤ listening to her reminds me of my Uncle Roy (RIP the both of them)
❤ Never knew all this about Patsys starting out in music Wow she was meant to be a country star 😊
Amazingly talented young woman.
My brother and I always say how fortunate we are, that our parents introduced us to the icons of the music industry. We grew up to appreciate these wonderful tunes, and artists.
My brother gobbled up every ounce of talent in the family and is quite amazing as well! I don't know diddley, but I know what a winner sounds like!
R.I.P.
Patsy Cline
When America was America ❤ Patsy Elvis AND Marlyn all born and died before my time 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I love this documentary ❤️ it's really nice to hear the music on UA-cam usually you don't or you only hear a small bit..
Patsy was the bestest. I have difficulty even saying that. Simply said, I am at a loss for words.
Always be my favorite country singer
Unbelievable how down to earth her family are....
I'm 34 years old, and my mom (66) introduced me to Patsy Cline's music as a child and I've loved her music my whole life. So much respect Patsy RIP
i grew up loving her music.
Thank you for this. ❤️
What an amazing voice love her music ❤
Never again will there ever be another Patsy Cline! Her voice, personality and ambition was and still is a force to be reckoned with! She was raised during the Great Depression so she knew strength and how to make things work!
Haven't seen this one. It's a shame we don't get to hear that wonderful voice! Love Patsy Cline.
Thank God, for Patsy Cline!!!
She passed at 30. Wow. She had a seasoned voice for a young lady. My parents always played her music.
Definitely one of the greats!
❤❤Amazing. Singer.Wish I had her great personality!!

Awww how beautiful ❤❤❤
When I need to be alone with my thoughts, Patsy Cline has been my go to for a long time. She either gets me and or makes me think. RILove.❤
I’ve never heard anyone sing Shake, Rattle and Roll besidesElvis til now. This documentary was fun. She also sang the song Donna Butterworth sang cin one of Elvis’ movie, possibly titled “Won’t you please come home”
So sad she died so young.
My favorite song is "I'm Sorry"!!
I had met a nice lady, Ms. Patricia Kelly, over 3 years ago; whenever I bumped into her, I'd sing: "Hello, I'm Sorry, So Sorry!"-until a month or two ago, she's flipped a script on me: can't recall what I said or did, but oh well!!
