So i've had this laptop and used it as a daily for a few years now and here are my thoughts: -Trackpad sucks.. like bad. Not sure what happened but sometimes it'll randomly stop working for a while, or jitter around. It isn't like this all the time, but it happens maybe once or twice a week, and it's annoying. -Viewing angles are absolutely atrocious, screen brightness isn't too great either -Battery life has really deteriorated after a few years, lasts around maybe 2ish hours on a full charge -Does tend to get pretty hot and the fan gets pretty noisy when working hard -This was my first Windows 10 computer, and it ran pretty slow and glitchy, not sure if that's just windows 10 though Overall, it really isn't a bad laptop, but there are a couple flaws that you notice after a while.

I have a bit of a hard time when it comes to typing and navigating sites. I like that I can reach out and click the screen when I just want to. The keyboard looks like the best fit for me. Easy to read and slow typer friendly. I agree it would be super cool to see the pyramids. And also it blows my mind that they were created by humans. Thanks again!
Did anyone else screen pop out? On the left bottom side of the screen. I had one on these laptops and the screen on the left bottom popped out and cracked the screen. I can't close it, therefore, I had to buy another one because I really like the laptop. After about 1 year of using the new one that I bought, I have started to notice that the screen is starting to pop up again on the same side. I am looking for solutions on youtube, but there is nothing that can help me. I don't know if it is just me or if there are others having the same issue.
I bought mine almost the same time you did your review. I have noticed that the one you were reviewing, you did not mentioned the touch pen and also It does not have the optional button lighting. but overall it is nice.

I’ve been stuck between this one, the dell inspiron, & Lenovo ideapad to replace my Toshiba 17” 1 TB of 11 years. Yep, it’s still going (just needs to stay on the charger, plastic build cracking, one hinge breaking, & does not load Microsoft files from emails anymore). All in all, Toshiba made stuff built to last and that’s what I want in my next laptop but with touchscreen now. What do I do? 😭💔
I'm in mourning too. I got my Toshiba laptop in 2009 and that laptop last me so long, it was so thick, so durable, good picture quality. but I'm unable to do anything on it anymore and have to resort to getting another laptop. I might consider this one as I do have a HP pavillion touchscreen desktop

Please do not buy the i3 chip which is base model, it gets really annoying over time, track pad is also horrible, Being using it for 2 year its been such a pain, plus outlook nd other apps gets stuck an lot of lagging issues, battery life wise,really happy, it does well. But once again I had the base model with i3 chip, however I suppose with a more powerful chip set it will affect the battery life, and see the the whole 360° isn't of a great thing, you hardly use it that way, trust me keyboard is also annoying to some extent.
Would love a 2-in-1 for the purpose of writing and content consumption. But I feel like the 16GB versions are too expensive and perhaps too powerful for my use case. While 8GB versions are just lacking in memory, while processor performance will be enough for just writing and entertainment consumption. Would love to know how a game like Rocket League will run though, as it's basically the only game I would play if I would play any game at all on a "work" laptop.

I thought it was issue, right side was good left side was like that, got it apparently repaired but now both sides r like that. My editing of choice is Final Cut Pro, but I would say your specs will be okay with davinci, adobe or other common video editing tools
