Holi is a festival of colors where people splash different colors on each other to celebrate the victory of good over evil. Colors symbolize life, and coloring each other gives life to our wishes and celebrations, making Holi a festival of celebrating life, love, and passion.
The delivery of color can come in a couple of forms, the normal is powder form in which you rub a brightly colored powder on someone, or actually throw it on them. It can also be delivered in liquid form from a squirt gun, or a water balloon.
Holi originates from ancient Hindu mythology with deep roots in Hindu philosophy and has been celebrated for thousands of years. Today, Holi isn’t just celebrated by a certain religion or group of people but has become a common festival that any and every one is invited to take part in.
