No matter where you travel, it's essential to stay cautious and vigilant, and building connections with locals is key. Nepal stands out as one of the safest countries worldwide for tourists, yet it's incumbent upon us to prioritize our safety. Engage with the local community, seek assistance when needed; while most people are welcoming, there might be an exception who could disrupt your experience. Personally, I've found Nepal to be a haven, feeling safer there than anywhere else.
As an Nepali, I'm really sorry for the incident. You are spot on about the safety aspect. even as an Nepali I don't feel completely safe walking the streets at night in Thamel. Anyway, I respect you for the respect you provided for our culture. Lots of love from Nepal💗
I guess, she was feeling unsafe while a beggar was leaning on her friend and trying to check their things out. As we all know, where this beggars comes from. We need to stop those tourist/beggars coming from our neighborhood countries. they are just ruining Nepal's reputations and image.
Ryleigh, I watched your entire Nepal series, and I absolutely loved it! You looked so beautiful, and your way of speaking is so sweet and humble-it’s truly a joy to watch and listen to you. I love your simplicity; it really touched my heart. Always stay the same-people tend to change after they gain fame, but I hope you never do. Some of your viewers were lucky enough to meet you in Pokhara & Pashupati. I hope I get to meet you one day as well. Always stay happy and healthy. I'll keep watching more of your videos. Thank you so much for visiting our country. You also feel as simple, humble, and kind as a Nepali to me.🇦🇺🇳🇵

This is a very honest review! Being a Nepali by birth and now living in New Zealand for my career, I feel quite an interesting review from a tourist perspective. It just reminds me of my time and my visit back although not as a tourist like you but as a local. Drinking from tap water, shopping things, transportation and other which you were critical of are actually true. Keep up the good work. Honest review is an important aspect of Nepal Tourism.
I love this recap! Its such a great idea; so entertaining and informative. I love every video and love this one just as much. You're a natural and I cant wait to see the next one! ❤ 🇦🇺

This is such a good summary. I have many foreign friends who have never been to Nepal. I encourage them to visit Nepal in Nov as you have. Now this video will be quite handy for me to pass it to them. 🙏
Hello my dear friend I lately starting looking at your vlog and I enjoying looking at it I am from the United States and u making me want to visiting Nepal you are a very brave girl to do it on your own God bless you just be safe when you're doing it on your own have a blessing life thank you for your loving vlog
Beautifully presented Ryleigh.. Maybe now we should do it in Australia as collaboration... how about you show Nepalese around and maybe visit Nepalese restaurant around Sydney and Melbourne.
Hi Ryleigh! I’ve been following your Nepal journey since video #1 and have loved seeing you enjoy yourself in my home country so much! I have some tips that may help you for the next time you visit: 1. Make a local friend. Preferably someone your age so that you can connect with them better. I know it’s difficult to do this as a tourist but if you do then you’ll have better experiences. They can give you many more travel destination options, and may even be able to find you tickets or prices that are cheaper even if you are a tourist. 2. If you go to Mustang, most of the living arrangements are Homestays. There are not many hotels in the area and it’s generally safer/a better experience to stay at a homestay. Mustang is BEAUTIFUL, I hope you get the chance to go. 3. Once you get out of the main valley and head south, the roads and landscapes become flatter. The terai region is very flat and spring or autumn are the best seasons to visit as it’s not too hot or cold. Some places outside of the valley and south I recommend: Janakpur, Lumbini (you’ll need a full day here cause it’s so massive and has many places to visit), Chitwan (make sure to book the jungle safari jeep ride; best seasons to go are usually when it’s not too hot as the animals won’t come out). Chitwan has many sections cause the area is so big. A very big tourist hot spot is Sauraha (absolutely gorgeous and very safe). You can also go to the Amaltari region (I recommend Nana jungle resort). If you end up going to Madesh Pradesh or near the Indian border, I don’t recommend doing it alone. Please go with a friend or with a group of people that you trust, just for your own safety as you’ll stick out like a sore thumb and might be a little disregarded as you are a woman and there are very traditional people in those areas. Our Madesh areas have a lot of vibrant culture and you’ll get to see a whole different side of Nepal if you do go. 4. You mainly visited the Pahad region during this visit, so you only saw 1/3 of Nepal culturally, ethnically, and spiritually. Our himal region has a lot of different ethnic groups. Please go to Ghandruk and Mustang for sure next time! (Make sure to increase your fitness levels beforehand tho 🤭). Some other miscellaneous cities I definitely recommend: hetauda (it’s so gorgeous I’m not even kidding. Especially after it rains); butwal, palpa, syangja

Glad you visited Nepal and enjoyed the places, food, and culture. Travel wise, Kathmandu to Pokhara via bus is pretty hectic even for Nepali people, so flying would be a good idea and it is cheap ($50) plus you can save the whole day doing other stuff. You were spot on for all the food. Honestly, I would put the same food in my list that you mentioned. I am going back to Nepal in about a month and can’t wait to visit my old stomping ground, Pokhara.
Thank you for reviewing and appreciating our people, food, places. We would be really happy to see you back very soon and explore many more, till then have an amazing time there love.
