Lea has always been the logical successor to La Streisand in this role. It's too bad that she and Ryan Murphy could never work out the timing on a Funny Girl revival.
I have never watched an episode, but my impression is that a trademark of Glee was covering well know songs in an original and often amazing way. This episode seems to have an interesting twist, but how many of the viewers just thought it was a great performance and Sue had no meaningful reason to walk out. How did the critic in the audience react? If Lea takes this approach to her opportunity to star in Funny Girl she is walking out on her self. To successfully honor Streisand and Fanny Brice, as well as develop as a human being, she needs to bring out her own original comedic and musical abilities. Will the producers give her a chance, like they did Beanie? Will Lea take the chance? ( In the end, will Randy Rainbow, with his fine blend of originality and mimicry, take over the lead and transform Funny Girl? )

Well it just happened her dream came true.
Barbra/Fanny has comic timing! LEA ? NONE
it’s crazy how she has actually been on broadway since she was 10 years old
Not 8?
@@annatimberlake7 well what i have seen it was 10
@@isaacpena6874 because i heard lea and jenna know each other since they were 8yrs old and they were on broadway
here after seeing a horrific clip of Beanie shrilling her way through this :|
Rachel is soooooooooo amazing in this song!!!!! I love her voice!!!!!! But personally I like Kurts version better.
Wow that was incredible. What an obvious blunder doing a Beanie!
( In the end, will Randy Rainbow, with his fine blend of originality and mimicry, take over the lead and transform Funny Girl? )
What was the name of the song... I remember that Rachel was singing this when she get tired of Funny girl, she was doing her make-up, getting flowers, anyone?
wake me up
