    Tr2 is the track 2. You set the track 2 on in the setting. Off the track 2 (input 2). Then you should be fine.

      Odd thing is I didn't change any settings internally... I didn't think I had but either way I disabled mic 2 inputs and have only seen a single file since so you are probably on to something. Oh and mono vs stereo mode and recording might change one file or 2 that makes total sense. I love using this with my phone for audio :P.

    I'm fairly new to audio and thought the F3 would be easy to use but I have several difficulties with it as well. In fact I use my F2 and Roland r07 more than the F3 as they are as good as plug and play, except no stereo from the F2 unfortunately.

      1:01 this is where I show mono to stereo. Try changing the setting to the other one if you have not done so. I have got around all my difficulties, part of the reason I do reviews is also to help me solve issues. In 1 year from now if I forget something I can look back and find my answer.

    Did you ever work out a solution for the interference issue when using your zoom plugged into the same v mount battery as your camera? I’m SO glad you had the same issue as me, I was very confused and stressed yesterday on a shoot!

      I simply use the zoom with the Xtar lithium ion batteries I reviewed on my other channel which I also list in my zoom hot tips videos where i show the tips and tricks. What to know how to connect a rode NTG to it? How about use your android phone as an audio interface? What about battery life and comparing it to Panasonic Envelope Pro and Duracell? I show it all in my hot tips series of videos on this channel.

      Another solution is to use a different battery bank from the camera...

    When I am record in mono and just 1 channel, I have two same files. Do you know why?
    One file can be listened and the other no

    • @sparkestudio
      @sparkestudio  Рік тому

      Yep, it depends if your system is set to stereo or mono. I personally think it is kind of dumb that the other microphone is on a different file based on your mono or stereo setting. When you change your setting you'll have one file but that one file is going to have sound out of one speaker

    Only use AA batteries, they are cheap, this sound comes from the power bank power stabilizer converter.

      This kills batteries wayyy too fast for my liking. However, you are right batteries are safer especially because not all power banks have clean power. l also have a plug in adapter which I purchased from Zoom so I can use... Shown in video part 1 of this review.

Kondensatory w urządzeniach audio wytrzymują dłużej, niż gdyby miały filtrować zakłócenia z zasilaczy podłączonych do ściany lub innych konwerterów. On miał rację. Szkoda tylko, że tutaj nie można zastosować ogniwa 18650 i naładować go osobną ładowarką.

      @@ciekaweurzadzenia for most people there is no audio issue ever using a battery bank, just don't buy junk cheap stuff is the key. If the battery bank is good enough for iPhone it is good enough for the Zoom. Simply has to remain dedicated with no other devices on the battery bank.

    Do you have an issue with the F3 randomly powering off. I’m using lithium batteries(have it set to lithium) and although it lasted 6 hrs, it randomly shut off. I turned off power save. The crazy thing is I was able to turn it back on and the battery indicator bars remain the same at full bars. There’s no way of knowing how much battery is remaining.

    • @sparkestudio
      @sparkestudio  Рік тому

      Did you make certain that the auto power off isn't turned on for a short time (take it that is what you meant by power save)? I had that issue with a nickel metal hydride battery before that it auto turned off. I am also using lithium batteries now as well but only recently tried and haven't had to charge yet so so I don't know if I have an issue like that or not yet. I know I had zero issues using an external power bank and I also have the wall power adapter.
      The one issue is there are 2 models of lithium batteries one is 1.2 volts each and normal voltage for batteries is 1.5 volts each in case you are using the lower voltage by mistake.
      Damaged a lavalier cable and it seemed to auto turn off on my when that happened... Might of been the lithium batteries or the cable. If you use a battery bank it'll solve the issue.

      @@sparkestudio Thank you for the quick response. The power save feature was completely off. I am using 1.5v 3500 Hinton rechargeable lithiums. It seems like there can be power issues with this thing. This is actually my second unit as my first was a lemon with many issues. I was filming a conference and had it connected to the PA system to get the audio techs feed. Although it was recording when I checked it at the audio tech booth at the beginning of the event, I checked it post event and it was completely powered off and it managed to only record 1min and 30sec. The event was 2 hours. I was using alkaline batteries. I’ll give this another whirl.

      You should watch my hot tips video on the Zoom F3, you'll learn a lot: ua-cam.com/video/KZ0as6pszi0/v-deo.html

      My new XLR to 3.5mm DPA device outs out more power and gain for lavaliers. I'll be posting that video maybe next month. Also have a movie studio grade lavalier that also arrived today but again might post that review in months from now... I have too many things to review to keep up :P. And yes all self purchased out of pocket unless stated otherwise.
