You should definitely send it to leather surgeon or Hermes spa. It would look brand new. They will restructure the Kelly back and make it brand new. They clean and polished and repair all the stuff you mentioned, definitely asked them to restructure it too, a little extra. I got my birkin and couple of Chanel done. Congratulations there craftsmanship is amazing

Absolutely stunning Kelly. I've considered box leather it looks like butter. I've used Leather Surgeons to touch up the corners of my Chanel CC Trendy bag. . The purse forum and youtube has many reviews for them. I think on vintage bags alittle wear and tear makes it look like its been loved and used. I always wonder where and by whom it was used. AWW if it could only talk, the stories it could tell. Enjoy your sweet gem.

I know you want to carry the bag to repair the leather but in the mean time a black sharpie can do wonders. I often touch up the corners of my black bags with a sharpie and no one can tell.
It was hand made by a very good artist so be proud to have it. I am eyeing one as well so looking at videos to see what it really looks like vs. just in picture.
