Sadly, for this to work as a toy, all the lions would have to be the same size. And there's probably a reason why with nearly every toy made of Voltron/Golion, the lions are different sizes.
I always love how all the lions had their own look and powers in here. None of them were really copy and paste, nor were any of them really given special treatment over the other lions. Even when they form the head, each one looks different as the head.

The concept may not make sense for other versions of Voltron and it seem dumb but this giant metal cat mech fighting giant aliens in outer space, the whole show concept seems dumb if you take it down to it's main elements so let's just enjoy the show for the positives instead of the negative as there are far too many nowadays.

I think that princess Allura's father King Alfor would have been very pleased with the fact that after a certain point Voltron was able to have different center formations and new weapons besides of course the Blazing Sword!

Yeah this made no sense when you consider the MASSIVE size difference in the five lions. With the Black Lion being the biggest, the blue and yellow being the second biggest and the red and green being the smallest. This is why there was never a toyline based on this series.
I agree. The lions are all different sizes, so in theory forming different centers wouldn’t work. The Netflix reboot solved this with the Paladins using their bayard to form weapons for Voltron.

Though I will agree that Legendary Defender’s Bayard system was a much more refined as it meant there was a new power for every permutation of the 5 Bayards. Much more variety than the 5 centers.

I noticed this too, but it attracted attention because it was something that was not in the other Voltron series, I think it was a very good idea. Additionally, when the other centers are the head, the body expands with animation.
I have watched most of the voltron shows this version reminds of power rangers using their different zords during battles and each member getting to lead is pretty special I wish the original version and the Netflix version did that more as a fan of both franchises I would love to see the voltron teams teamup with the power rangers because they are so similar it would be pretty awsome to see the iconic versions of the voltrons and power rangers zords going into battle maybe some day it will happen

I loved this about Voltron Force wasn't just Black Center but all 5 colors for Voltron wish this could have continued.
