So she's saying "you should be *forced* to send your kids to the crappy podunk school that supports football over academics"... Now don't get it twisted, I can't stand Stitt, he's a total new-school rino, the type that does the BARE minimum to get by with the very conservative voters in Oklahoma & doesn't really believe in the conservative point of view. He just does what he HAS to for votes.
On November 3, 2016 Hofmeister was arrested and charged with conspiracy and campaign finance violations in Oklahoma County
Ohh yeah, then why were ALL charges dropped against her, if she did ANYTHING wrong? That BASELESS charge was thrown out less than a year after...like 7-8 months later.. I guess you don't believe in DUE PROCESS...gmab....BECAUSE IT WAS BASELESS and POLITICALLY MOTIVATED. Meanwhile, here is an excerpt from KFOR about how much Stitt received for the new "Mansion" he wants to build: "We have asked for the list of donors; wealthy Oklahomans contributing up to $150,000 per person, up to $250,000 per foundation." That is WAY over 5000 that Joy was charged with..and you're ok with this tho? ON THE GROUNDS OF THE MANSION...on taxpayer-owned land...without YOU having a say in it? smh....Have you seen the dark money flowing to Stitt in his 1000's of commercials? gmab.
I'll choose someone vindicated of baseless charges any day, over someone who will be charged SOON because there is JUST TOO MUCH corruption in Stitt's administration.

I agree on everything you said on abortion, but disagree on the KNOWN effects of integrating race relations into teaching real American history. I think we all know we have to, but disagree on the methods to do it. Lemme explain...Do we not teach about the LA riots? How about 9/11? How about the Murrah Bldg bombing?...that's part of US history isn't it? Do we not say a cult member was responsible for The Murrah? An islamic terrorist for 9/11? All of these school shootings and racially motivated church shootings....how to proceed? How real is real is my question? Who decides what is the right terminology? Is that opinion for me to say that? When does it cross the line....to being a personal opinion?
I think I've demonstrated the difficulties teachers will have to decide..in just teaching history. I'm hopeful the administrators realize this and will have rubrics and monitoring in place to make sure there is a "towing of the line", so to speak, in keeping personal opinion free of the classroom We have to teach history., though, right? I can't just teach ONLY about the Revolutionary War....in 2052. I have to teach about the 1960s and the turbulence of the end of that decade...at some point...the Vietnam War?...A well eductated society has to teach about that war, right?. So, what does a teacher do? Are hippies gonna be mad if I say they were long-hairs? lol

Did you know that post-birth after care is considered a "desert' in the heartland (ie: no healthcare facilities for post-birth care in comparison to other states)? Let me find the report, but I feel abortion should have been left at what? 12 weeks? 15 weeks? Whatever it was, was a compromise everyone agreed on. Although I am in the middle on it, I think we should listen to mothers about this too. IF we are going to change their life for them without giving them autonomy over their bodies, we (as a state) should also offer commensurate health care facilities for those mothers. IF we (as a state) cannot do that, we should not put that expectation on the mother. I don't think God gives extra points for saving the baby, but ruining the mother. IF you are a believer in Christ, then you will feel inclined to look into it too because it relates to your own judgments and persona....and therefore, trials. Just my opinion, but I thought I'd share this report on after-birth care...I'll find it now!

Yeah, I've seen HUNDREDS MORE Stitt ads to just several Joy ads on every night for the last few months. Not recently only, but going back to the Spring or late winter of '22. Heck, Joy's didn't even start until recently. Stitt's commercials have been going for over half a year. And you complain about Joy's dark money. Yet, you think Stitt has NO dark money behind his THOUSANDS of commercials?....gmab. Stitt has loads of shady dealings and suspected corruption in the four years, and yet you ask no questions of your own taxpayer monies over the four years? humm...Please... Take the fleck out of your own eye is what this Okie says....smh....

@@cozyojk571 I don't know if I change the channels more or what, but I 've seen Stitt ads on Monday Night Football, Discovery, MTV, Nat Geo, Cable News (even the BBC), and local channels. I've only seen Joy's ads on local channels. I've even seen ads for Stitt on UA-cam when searching...the in-between annoying ads you tube does. lol So, ain't buying it. I'd say 1.5:1 Stitt to Joy ratio of ads now, but not back in Summer. I've only seen Joy's ads for a couple of months now. Stitt's ads have been going on since March, I believe. So, NO way Joy has more black money going into the campaign than Stitt imo.
As far as the "They would mention it" Umm..did you watch how they pandered to Stitt? If Stitt went over, which was WAY more times than Joy, never an interruption hardly. They only even grilled Stitt about the crime and you saw how he reacted like a child to that...smh. I would say that happened a dozen times during the debate. If Joy went over, they would interrupt her with less reservation. Watch it again..I will too and you can be the judge. I'll record the time given to each candidate that went over, and I guarantee you that Stitt had much more uninterrupted overages (in time/minutes), versus Joy's interrupted overages. Time based= Who got more overage time? What's the wager? Let's put our money where our mouths are...I'll go a pizza! You game?! But, that's my take on that perception.
The fact that it wasn't shown all over the local TV is fishy. Why wasn't it allowed to be broadcast on KFOR? on KOCO? Although I don't know if it was broadcast live on News9, I know my DVR recording on News 9 Monday Oct 24th at 7PM is some sitcom instead. How many older folks are really gonna get online to watch it, if that's the ONLY way? Not to be ageist, but you get what I mean...not as good with computer stuff because it wasn't their generation...thing..lol Why do I have to go ONLY to News9 website to see?...can't stand them. So, I don't trust News 9 is my point to do anything right. Kelly Ogle makes me wanna hurl. The fact that someone has to search the internet for the video says that they don't want people to watch it. Just my feelings on the issue....and News9!
BTW, I was a republican...now, I'm a registered independent. So, I disagree on abortion but it's not by much. I don't really see anything wrong with the way it was..at 12 weeks...15 weeks? The fetal heartbeat isn't until day 56, cerebral developement doesn't occur until the 18th week onwards really, and the fact that the guts are outside the abdomen until week 12 is enough for me to weigh the MOTHER's wishes more in this important life changing decision! But really, it comes down to a woman's autonomy and HER choice over my personal views on embryonic;/fetal development.
Did you know that maternal care is considered a "Desert" here in the heartland? I read a report this week ranking each county in Amerca and color coding access to maternal care opportunites. Anyway, it showed the entire central US is considered closer to non-existent than helpful. I'll find the report and repost after this...so you can see! IF that's true, then it is NOT my place to say "Yeah, you HAVE to have the baby," KNOWING that there will be little after-birth care available to them. It's not MY right to force a woman to try a dangerous, unlawful procedure or ruin two lives. It's not right to say yeah, you have to have it or we send you to jail, but then offer more services for them in jail than in the real world. smh...It is my understanding that THAT is the reason they set 12 wks..15 wks before it was overturned. Stitts been in office 4 of the 8 years she's been in and we've gotten no better. It takes more than two people in office to get the job done. How much do you think the legislature has actually helped in passing laws to help our beleaguered education system? Other than the pay increase for teachers, the answer is not much.

Hofmeister did a great job. She held her ground and was not shaken. The current governor did a lot of deflecting on Biden. The race is about the people of Oklahoma…

What's interesting is places that have Recreational marijuana they seem to have less issues with illegal growers, doing human trafficking, weird that there are lots of big gangs and cartels Involved with MMJ grows here in oklahoma, it would be interesting to see if recreational states have less issues with that, they seem to, seems like with as much government is involved with MMJ operations

Schools do waste money the kids are learning less reading writing and arithmetic. Sports science and trips take up most of the time in school. Then bring in the mental health people and councilor’s. The time to actually learn just isn’t there Also teachers spend a lot of time teaching kids how to pass tests instead of just teaching. Oh ya and CRT has a new name it’s social emotional learning.

Joy is why Oklahoma is behind. She doesn't answer any questions. But handles most of Oklahomas tax money. Our school system gets lot's of money with no results to show with. I learned that they get mineral registers debate now but they also get over 60% of our property taxes on top of a good chunk of the lottery where in the hell is the money going

@@wefixmoneynow You do realize that if Stitt were successful in overturning the inital contracts he complained about, that that would make EVERY state contract null and void? For the fire program...for the police...for the educational program...For the ag program and the fertilizer manufacturer, For the computer science and Dell computers, etc. The reason is in the wording, that he ultimately got denied upon (Stitt). That, the set date of expiration is just a date. The contract will continue, if one party isn't given due notice. EVERY State contract has that wording in it ( I worked in two departments for the state), so if Stitt broke the contract, ANYONE else could "Opt out" without due notice at the expiration date. Let's say I notify them a week early of the expiration date that I'm done. Stitt was doing just that according to the tribes. Remember, they initially wanted to work with Stitt on it? Anyway, there is a whole legal team you have to send your contracts to for approval, prior to submitting them to the other party (usually commercial, medical, industrial, etc). That legal team basically sends out a blank-copy wording where you fill in date, names, contacts, signature line, etc...

It is a privilege the state granted the casino to have exclusive monopoly rights for a period of time and they would pay 4 to 6 % on slots and 10% on tables. That means no one in Oklahoma white, black, Asian green and so on could not open their own casino because the tribes had it on lock down. They raked in 3 billion with a B and only paid 163 million to the state. For a monopoly? it should be 50/50 but at bare minimum 25 to 30%. Now if there was equal competition I could see an 8 to 10% fee. It would not make every state contract voided. Those are all independent of each other. Let me tell you how programs work. The money comes into the state from the federal government for "x" program. The state congress decides which counties get the funding based on the federal requirements. Then the county takes the money and is suppose to give it out according to the guidelines. Just like Loy she got 1.8 billion in funding 200 million in covid and she refuses to say where all the money went especially the covid money and she is fighting against Stitt for an Audit. THATS GOT RED FLAG WRITTEN ALL OVER IT.

That Stitt was ALLOWED To break a contract the State signed with the tribes? Nah, you got that wrong. Here is the official wording that I got back from state legal for the two programs I managed for the state. I pulled up the wording from my flash drives, so this is the exact wording I was inclined to follow. It says "The term of this Agreement shall be for approximately 12 (months/year(s)), commencing _________, and ending ______, unless terminated earlier as provided in this Agreement. After the initial term, this Agreement shall continue in effect for additional periods of one year each unless one party notifies the other at least 90 days prior to the end of the initial term or any extended term of its intent to terminate this Agreement at the end of such term, in which event this Agreement shall terminate at the end of the then-current term." The state compact contract is very similar to this wording. I'm sure I can find a news story quoting this verbage too, as it was posted on the news at the time. This is what Stitt was objecting to...that the defined dates in the contract had expired and didn't automatically renew. The tribes disagreed, and won in court. The contracts automatically renewed because Stitt can't just say a contract is null and void with this type of language. The tribes also said they were already paying money to the state, with amounts agreed to in the initial LEGAL compact that was signed, as I remember. You can't ask for more money after you sign on the dotted line...just sayin! I'll look for some other evidence...
