Milk and More are an absolute nightmare. 1.30am, 3.00am for a service that only really has a romantic attachment in the past. How many people are woken by men in transits slamming doors and chatting to their mates on their phones. Before you start an account with them think about your neighbours. Night time deliveries are NOT needed. They claim to be environmentally friendly but your putting another vehicle on the road just to put a pint of milk on your doorstep that you could get far cheaper in your weekly shop. Which other company would we accept delivering at night?
It seems you are misinformed, or have an unusually bad milkman on your local round. For a start, most of the urban routes are served by electric vehicles with no doors. Yes there are some rounds that are served by diesel trucks, and these tend to be the more rural ones - it's the rural ones where the milkman is actually an important lifeline to some of the isolated older people - we don't just deliver milk, we do bread, eggs, bacon, cheese, etc, as well. And in some cases we'll provide a friendly face to chat to, which is much needed in some of these more isolated communities. Regarding the price of milk in supermarkets - it's well-documented that the supermarkets have used underhand tactics to force farmers to produce milk (and other goods) at a price which forces them into the difficult position of cutting corners in the care of their livestock. Also you've clearly not watched the video all the way through, otherwise you wouldn't have said "men in transits", because myself and my fiancee are featured in it - it's not just men. Also, there has been a resurgence of popularity for milk deliveries in the last few years, so it's obviously not just a legacy from the past with some romantic attachment - real people have written us really nice thank-you notes throughout the pandemic because we kept them supplied when the supermarkets couldn't I'm sorry that you've been woken up by your local milkman, but on my UA-cam page is not the right place for you to have a moan about it, if you have a problem with your local milkman, speak to your local Milk&More depot. I live in the middle of an estate in New Milton and there is plenty of infrastructure here to supply people's wants and needs without inconsiderate dopes slamming their doors and conducting their conversations. Do you realise how important sleep is to people? Especially those with mental health issues. I'll put aside my point of view wherever I am able in order to let people know that it's not all sunshine and flowers when you decide to get milk delivered. Milk and Mores Facebook page is full of lovely comments and where I and others have obviously commented it is clearly hidden from other potential customers. Do you think it's right that people should be misled in this way? You can clearly see there that people are answering negative comments without being able to see the comments. Good luck finding a world where everyone agrees with your point of view and I hope you manage to get some decent sleep.

Wow, I wonder how similar the milk rounds are in Brazil when compared to the UK - is it only big cities that have milkmen or does it extend out into the more remote towns and villages?
@@TheSlinq In the past, my family where like street vendors, selling the milk along the streets, to the consumers, similar to UK milkmen. But big supermarkets companies came to the city and then we start selling it only to the supermakerts, grocery stores or bakeries, so they can sell it to the consumers.
I live in the Philippines, so we never had any history of milkmen delivery even in the past. But watching cartoons from the UK and US, as a kid I always dreamed of there being milkmen deliver milk in cute bottles. I still kinda do.

Really wish they delivered to homes Where I live. Love all the benefits that man mentioned, plus it's actually tastier. My local newsagents used to have them but stopped. I suffer through most supermarket milk now, tastes awful in comparison.
I think Milk & More cover most of the country, are you somewhere very remote? I presume you've tried putting your postcode into the Milk and More website? It is a pity if they don't serve your area - in some instances there are local independent milk men who will deliver to your door instead?
Practically all Milk is from the German company Müller who have a Monopoly on it in the uk. They even own the firm showed here and 50% of their nearest competitor Arla. Nothing British about it deapite the rose tinted glasses worn by the customer on the doorstep.

They wake the whole neighbourhood up at 4am, they leave their engines running, sort out the milk right under your window, so clink clink clink for 10 minutes. The vans pollute the environment with their noisy diesel engines, terrible company.

But what you may not know is another company called Freshways now control the business and group and supply the milk. 4 or 5 years ago I worked delivering Milk and More produce to Winchester. So 5 years ago I was told that we'd be going down to a 5 day week. Around the country businesses' are moving to a 4 day week if the Employee wants it. So long as they do their hours all cool with Employee and Employer. Now second stint of working for Milk and More 4 or 5 years later Freshways have taken over the business. Twice now what they have done is reduce the amount of rounds. So they call up the Agency supplying the drivers and say we need two less. Then they share the workload between the existing Rounds people. This has happened twice. I was on a salary. Each time Milk and More / Freshways do this they add to the volume of deliveries and time taken to distribute the produce. It was supposed to be a 6 day delivery. 8 hours. 6 Nights. What has actually happened is that they have reduced the Roundsmen and increased their workload. They still profit from their sales but get it delivered for free. I've jacked the job on principle. I'll lose about a month of lost pay while I find another job. Defund Milk and More / Freshways. Cancel your account. You need to know how they treat their staff.

I'm in Peterhead and I get my milk delivery from Kerr's Dairy and you can definitely taste the difference between it and shop bought milk.
They created a fresh oat milk in the glass bottles and I’ve just paid for a weekly subscription :)
Yes these were immediately popular as soon as we started selling them - in the first week our depot sold out, but the supply is solid now

I think they should replace the electric vans with the old milk floats. The old milk floats can be upgraded. And milk floats have alot of character
