@@jimmieakesson8816 There are mods for it but I simply just opened the command menu and selected „cover“ as soon as I spawned. That way the AI will just stay there.
I always found the smgs to be a ton of fun to use and really forgiving for newer players. The armor penetration is kinda garbage though and can be an issue occasionally. Otherwise I LOVE playing with shotguns. I also primarily use a shield in mp lobbies since the ai is programmed to shoot like a navy seal at all times
Side note: the 5.7 is also a pretty decent pistol. I find it to be genuinely the best to use if you're using a shield as well for the high mag capacity, armor penetration, and low recoi
At the end of the day, it's all what you want to do and you get out what you put in. Very thoughtful guide, and definitely shows new players what they can do but don't have to as they figure out the game :)
i find it nice to use the suppressors for my entire ai squad so i know for sure whose shooting, my team or enemies because enemies are never suppressed.
This video was kind of confusing because of the mods, I wouldn't recommend having mods in a video that is marketed towards beginning players. Aside from that, great job and looking forward to your future videos!
My favorite loadout for the 416 is with the silencer - not to be tacticool but for the stats. It gives away your flash, it has less vertical recoil. Also, I prefer to use the USP because of the stopping power. Plus it has been one of my favorite pistols ever since CS 1.4. I prefer heavy armor with kevlar or steel depending on the mission - reason is that this game has a lot of bugs where the enemy suddenly can appear or even from the ground/wall. Doorwedges is default. I use flash nades and the breaching shotgun. I use the ARWC, 416 or the KAC16. The ARN-18 is a laser beam.
I’ve been using the UMP45 with hollow points and the combat grip, it is literally a laser, almost no vertical recoil to deal with for the first 5 shots. It does take more rounds to put down armour opponents but just aim for the legs. I’ve found the UMP puts people down really really fast and you can leave a lot of people alive/wounded. With assault rifles the recoil is absolutely awful compared to the smg’s.
mp5a2 with no suppressor literally has 0 recoil, even on full auto. Also the sig mcx is also very beamy. The G36 has 0 recoil too after 15 rounds on full auto, and generally has very low recoil personally I use the SA-58 mostly though, only needs 1-2 shots to down most of the time
Note to everyone, in my opinion all the guns are viable in in ready or not, at least that's what I've found. It really just comes down to preference, but I do recommend using the SA-58 if you trust your aim, as it only takes 1 to 2 shots to drop 99% of enemies, the ARWC, SR-16, and HK are both good heavy hitters, the G-36 is a no recoil rifle, the MP5A2 has literally no recoil (ive found the suppressor adds quite a bit for the Mp5a2 though, so use it without it) the UMP is also quite no recoil (not very realistic, thing jumps around like a mother fucker in real life) but a slow firerate, pretty cool to use though. The SIG MCX is also a cool option, fast fire rate and shreds enemies, pretty low recoil and decent damage, I prefer this over the Mp5A2. The FN 5.7 or whatever it's called in the game is my go to pistol, 20 rounds in a single mag and good armor pen, pretty accurate and fast fire rate.
Let me know what you guys typically use and how each piece of gear effects your playstyle. Would love to see what everyone uses. Feel free to suggest alternative equipment as well. I think it's good to help out the newer player base as an educated and conditioned player.
I normally try to play as close to real life as possible: no wedges, mirrorgun, breaching shotgun (too different from its irl behavior), lockpicking of locked doors, excessive amounts of ammo, or NVG’s unless its a heavily nighttime map and with the scenario allowing for me to play as personnel beyond the local district SWAT who wouldn’t commonly have NVG’s. In this regard, a completely functional solo loadout is ARN-18 with holosight, flashlight, vertical grip, and a brake, 5 mags. Glock with RMR, flashlight, and brake, 3 magazines. Perfect blend of maximized recoil control, stopping power, and magazine size for both weapons. Light armor with steel plates (again, ceramic not being as common). No face gear. Pepper spray and flashbangs, and battering ram fill out the rest.
@@gamerzz700 ceramics might be a better tradeoff if you want more speed. My primary reason is that it’s not as widely available to the non-elite swat units. Kevlar is trash.
I like to run the non IR laser because if its dark and I need to see I can just put on my night vision. and if the map is dark to begin with I'll just go to the PEQ IR. Why do I use the non IR and IR lasers? point shooting. they implemented canted aiming where instead of looking down your rails and your bulky sight and obscure a lot of your sight picture you can tilt your gun and use the laser to stay on target. you just have to have a decent feel for where your rounds actually land, because the laser doesn't come out of your barrel, obviously.
I prefer the sa58 and glock 19 as my primary and secondary respectively. Sa58 because if i have to pull the trigger, i want the threat to be neutralized reliably. Saves innocent lives, provides enough security and is extremely reliable for the purpose. Glock 19, i run it suppressed, because if the team wants to sneak in, i will have at least something to use. Obviously if and when shit hits the fan, sa58 has got me covered. I regularly practice two to the chest and one to the head with my glock. That drill is a lifesaver. I would recommend that drill to everyone. With sa58, i just practice rapid target acquisition and two shots. I would highly recommend these drills to everyone here. No matter the choice of your primary or secondary, if you don't practice and repeat drills.... You will get shot in the ops. Find a good group and practice.
I use the UMP45 on semi auto all the time and HK USP for my sidearm. I don't really use other weapons. I have my teamates use other H&K weapons because I'm biased lol. For the heavy armored enemies I always aim for the head because why not.
Annoying isn’t it? Don’t worry, there’s a mod for that. Head over to nexus mods and have a look, there’s some absolute must haves in there. I would also recommend the visible/IR laser so you can see the laser with/without the NVGs that you will always have equipped 👍 Must have. Also some great new maps there too
You say that the HK16 is your favourite but then say that the MK1, which is exaclt the HK16 but reskinned, is dogshit because its like the HK16? Make your mind up
Not sure where you got that information from. I said the MK1 is a supporter edition reskin of the SR-16. Not once did I mention the MK1 being a reskin of the HK416. When the MK1 was introduced, it was accidentally made to have the similar performance of the HK416 but was shortly patched and given the performance of the SR-16. This may have been changed, but this was my experience the last time I used the MK1. Please do yourself a favor and verify before making a negative comment.
