  • I figured I would check out a few old house sites with the AT Pro, one of them was built in 1915 and has been abandoned for a few years now. The 2nd house site was so old that nothing is left but a pile of rocks, afterwards Abby and I went sifting for relics at my School House spot. Thanks For Watching! I will have another video up next week.

    About Nugget Noggin:
Hey! I'm Michael, I love to get outdoors and discover awesome things
with my metal detector. I started treasure hunting when I was 12 years
old and shortly after received my first metal detector. Since then, I've
been hooked and just love going out to search for the unknown. You
may see me in the woods crawling under an old house or diving down
in the river to search for rings. Wherever the adventure brings us, I'll try
my best to keep you entertained.

Good Adventure Nugget. That's what I like about our vids,...it's not about hole/find, hole/find, hole/find,..its about the ADVENTURE and what you run across while getting there. Nice job.

Yeah, it's not what you find, it's finding it that's important. I wonder about the people who used to own it, too.

The"baby fork" was probably a post Victorian era fashion that moved to the Middle Class where there were specialized utensils for every type of food and course of service (e.g. turtle, lobster, olives, beef, chicken, soup, salad, jelly etc.). I think someone in the U.S. even put a limit on the number of pieces allowed in a utensil set (read in "The Evolution of Useful Things" by Henry Petroski long ago)

Here's another thought, surely if you are digging under the wooden beam flooring, all you will find are things that have fell through or have been pushed through, namely marbles, forks, beads and the odd coin. The horseshoes probably came from the horses that were used to pull the beams in place. Wouldn't it be best to find the edges of the house and dig down in the dirt around there, you guys might have more luck and possibly better finds. I'm no expert but that's what I would try, but it's hard to tell from just the videos if that's been done or not. Keep up the enthusiasm guys, really enjoyable watching and inspires me to get up off my ass to go do some 'tectin' too, cheers once again guys.

My dog wouldn't dig as violently lol. If you look at some of the other detecting channels and then come back and see how excited this guy gets over a #button after 6 years of detecting, you begin to wonder if he's just showing off to that young lady. He puts in the effort for sure but compared to most of the other prospectors, he never finds anything of large value or even tries to go outside of his comfort zone to try some new areas and try to find something truly amazing.
