Karen Osmond thanks a lot 😊. I don’t have the pattern in any file, I draw the pattern in that grid, made with the program Easy bead patterns or Beadtool, they’re free. And the pattern is so easy as you see in the video.

It appears this may not work when you've already gone quite a ways adding on one bead at a time. Even though I am adding the correct number of beads in the correct sequence, following this method now leaves too much thread showing and tightening doesn't fix it. I will try it again on the next piece using only this method immediately after joining.
