George from Qualfab, bought my first Okuma in 1986. I just ordered my 9th Okuma. I knew the control was for me when I programed a parabolic curve on my first lathe with about 5 lines of code to rough and finish the curve in 1986.
That's amazing! I wish I had known about the Okuma control options 20 years ago.
I'm late to the party, and have learned so much from this video. Ironically, I've been considering DMG MORI and other popular brands for a new mill/turn, yet never knew anything about Okuma. The control is the heart of the machine. There are millions of people who do not know anything about the Okuma advantages.
I’ve operated primarily mori’s most of my short career, just now getting introduced to fadals and okumas. Definitely different, Mazaks are a little different too, Haas has its own thing. I like Mori but it’s probably bc that’s what I grew up on

how to control rapid without single block control please clear my doubt

There are three rotating knobs. Leftmost will allow you to adjust rapids from 0% to 100%. I like to test new tasks with single block and 5-30% rapids. When all looks good i drop single block and eventually adjust rapids to around 75-100%.
Are the apps available for purchasers of used P series machines also or just those one owner buyers?
Apps should be available to whomever is currently using the machine

большие файлы окума не корректирует. Бывает, что файлы не читает, ругаясь на недостаток буфера памяти...
в-общем не лучшее решение...
День добрый. Подскажи пожалуйста если в курсе. Графическая симуляция на Okuma OSP7000L Есть ли она И как перейти в режим симуляции. Мануала на русском нет. Переводим потихоньку.
нужно в автомате нажать кнопки, как в видео:

и затем выбрать на экране 3d рисование или как-то так и нажимаете зеленую кнопку NC Start
