Most of these can be found on vinyl (but expensive with crappy mastering, usually overseas pressings). Saying that probably the cheapest (still around $50) one to find is Storyville. I'll be on the lookout. Joe in Houston
Good question. Having an album on vinyl can mean better sound quality, liner notes, etc., but it can also mean it's among the Crown Jewels of your personal canon just because you think it's a great great listen all the way through. Some I'd like to have on vinyl: Josh Rouse: "1972," The Bees "Sunshine Hit Me'," Nicolai Dunger "Soul Rush," Hollis Brown "In the Athermath" (a convincing updated cover of the entire 'Aftermath' album,) Neil Young "Dune," Japancakes "Loveless," Kraftwerk "Ralf & Florian" (before they became robots,) Wilco "Being There, Deluxe," Wilco "Summerteeth, Deluxe," Urge Overkill "Saturation." I'm sure there are others.
The Cars Move Like This LP is available at a local record store here in the Vancouver area. Asking $149.99 Canadian. Not sure if it’s sealed or not. I found it on their web site. It’s still there.
Jimi Hendrix: First Rays of the New Rising Sun King Crimson: The Great Deceiver Velvet Underground: The Matrix Tapes (though I got 1969) Labradford: Prazision Duke Ellington: The Blanton-Webster Band Lucinda Williams: Car Wheels on a Gravel Road, Deluxe Set (mainly for bonus live WXPN concert)
@@amitytracks Not quite a Benjamin at Amazon. Still tempting, though I got Cry of Love from back when.. (Never saw Rays at my local Record and Tape Exchange before it shut down a few years ago.)
The sound on Neil Young's LeNoise LP is not the best. I wouldn't waste my money if I were you. The vinyl version of the Eric Clapton And Steve Winwood is a 2 LP box set and the sound is excellent. Cocaine is my favorite. I have never been able to find the LP version of any of the 3 Jeff Beck albums. I had to buy the CDs when they came out because no vinyl version was to be found. I too would like to replace them.
Joni Mitchell’s Turbulent Indigo and Taming the Tiger Linda Ronstadt’s Feels Like Home, We Ran, and Adieu False Heart Robin Foster’s Where Do We Go From Here? Chris Isaak’s Baja Sessions Sarah Brightman’s Eden, La Luna, Harem, Time to Say Goodbye Seal’s Human Being Marianne Faithfull’s A Secret Life, Blazing Away Aimee Mann’s The Forgotten Arm and Lost in Space Jorma Kaukonen’s Blue Country Heart and River of Time Annie Lennox’s Bare and Songs of Mass Destruction The Chieftains’ The Long Black Veil

Thanks. I saw a copy of 'Storyville' for around $90 online somewhere. But I don't pay that much for one album if I already have the music on CD.
John Hiatt, "Perfectly Good Guitars" and "Walk On".
The Sundays debut, October Project 1st album and The Grays' Ro Sham Bo

For me, at $150, I count that as not available. I'm not spending that on one record.
