- Brace Yourself! as Brent and Grace take you on a search for lunch in the Old Mill District of Pigeon Forge! In all our years coming to the Smokies, we've never stopped at the Old Mill, and we now know that was a HUGE MISTAKE!
Free Corn Chowder and Corn Fritters, followed by Fried Chicken and a huge Club Sandwich, we really got our money's worth!
Wonderful review! You did a great job on describing everything. We like The Old Mill, but like you The Pottery House is our favorite of the two. Glad you finally got to try The Old Mill. Thanks for taking us along with you!

We'll definitely try that next time we're there! Everything was much tastier than expected, we'll definitely be going back!
That's when I like to be in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg when there is not a ton of people in line....
The prices have certainly gone up since we were there 2 years ago ....but they have everywhere 🙄
Unfortunately you are right about that. Nothing is cheap anywhere you go, so if we are going to pay the money either way, we’d always choose shorter lines in GB!
My granddaughter loves fried chicken legs.

I love your review! But one thing I always want to know about menus. What if you are extra thirsty. Are refills included, or do you have to pay for each refill,?!
Thanks for bring this up, we’ll try to do a better about pointing that out. In our experience, 95% of the time nowadays, coffee, tea, and soft drinks come with unlimited refills, but specialty drinks (hot chocolate, lattes, etc), milk, juice, and bottled soft drinks are always one and done.
