    Wow, that tool actually looks like it's worth it. combining the vibration with a suction cup and at that price. 👍

    For 50 bucks it looks awesome. Good for those newer 3x5 tiles and up.

    Does the suction cup work on textured tile or polished only? I am installing some 24x48 cement-look porcelain that has a texture. Thanks

    • @LandbergTileTV
      @LandbergTileTV  7 місяців тому

      Yes, it works and seals on light textured tiles, if you have problems with your tile, you can return it. I think I received it one or two day shipping using the link I added in the vid description.

    When the video first came on you were talking about 150 to 300 and then you said 50 and I’m 😮 like I know that isn’t a dewalt because you can’t buy a dewalt battery for that price and then it made sense it was a off brand that took dewalt batteries 😅😅 thanks my friend for the video.

    Almost a necessity with the oversized tile these days. Had 1200x600s a month ago. So bowed/dished in the centers that I was practically standing on them to force the air out.

      With tile that big all you need to do is trowel the back of the tile using a 1/2" notch trowel in the opposite direction compared to the direction of the troweling on the floor. 98%-100% coverage every time. That tile is never breaking and never coming up. I've been installing for over 30 years and while I love new techniques and I'm always learning, I think these vibrating things are a waste of time and money.

      Sometimes you have to backfill and back butter majorly to compensate. Don’t forget your lashing, level, and square 😆

    Do mellif tools running on the dewalt platform have a low voltage cut off. So you can't drain the batterys down to the point you can't recharge them?

    • @akiriwas
      @akiriwas 7 годин тому

      That's built into the battery.

    I see a lot of comments complaining about how slow it works. But if your installing a very large tile you dont always have the luxury of collapsing by shifting it back and forth.

    These vibrating things are a faddish trend, not necessary, don't perform well and a waste of money. Although as a suction cup it looks to work really good and priced right. Enjoy the channel, keep up the good work.

      @LandbergTileTV  7 місяців тому +7

      This does work better than smacking it with a mallet when you install let's say 24" x 48" tiles for flooring or shower walls.

    • @KixCeramics

      Yea, can't hit a large format tile that is 6mm thick with a mallet, it all depends on what you are working with@@LandbergTileTV
