Thank you for doing this video! Tuesdays rock when you put out content.
Glad you like them!
Good stuff! Just ordered!
Any good?
Wow, that tool actually looks like it's worth it. combining the vibration with a suction cup and at that price. 👍
I think so too
For 50 bucks it looks awesome. Good for those newer 3x5 tiles and up.
yup!
Does the suction cup work on textured tile or polished only? I am installing some 24x48 cement-look porcelain that has a texture. Thanks
Yes, it works and seals on light textured tiles, if you have problems with your tile, you can return it. I think I received it one or two day shipping using the link I added in the vid description.
When the video first came on you were talking about 150 to 300 and then you said 50 and I’m 😮 like I know that isn’t a dewalt because you can’t buy a dewalt battery for that price and then it made sense it was a off brand that took dewalt batteries 😅😅 thanks my friend for the video.
Almost a necessity with the oversized tile these days. Had 1200x600s a month ago. So bowed/dished in the centers that I was practically standing on them to force the air out.
With tile that big all you need to do is trowel the back of the tile using a 1/2" notch trowel in the opposite direction compared to the direction of the troweling on the floor. 98%-100% coverage every time. That tile is never breaking and never coming up. I've been installing for over 30 years and while I love new techniques and I'm always learning, I think these vibrating things are a waste of time and money.
Sometimes you have to backfill and back butter majorly to compensate. Don’t forget your lashing, level, and square 😆
Do mellif tools running on the dewalt platform have a low voltage cut off. So you can't drain the batterys down to the point you can't recharge them?
That's built into the battery.
I see a lot of comments complaining about how slow it works. But if your installing a very large tile you dont always have the luxury of collapsing by shifting it back and forth.
best 10" wet saw that you've used would be the ?
Landberg would say “wet?…dewalt36” 📏 💛
I’m a huge fan of the 24”Dewalt 🚼
IQ is great but still needs some help. Fan of their tabletop 7”. Hope this helps.
Dewalt D2400 hands down, check out contractors direct dot com
is the D36000 not as good? thanks for your reply
Can you compare to a mallet. Would be nice to see what happens???
That's a good idea.
@@LandbergTileTV I’d keep using my mallet after watching the vibrator sped up. It just looked like a lot of effort lol
Que modelo es ese ventosa para comprala
Hablas de el cristal o la herramienta de vibración?
La herramienta
Bought one for my wife 😉
Wait...I don't have one 😮
😂😂a Bob comment for sure 🤝
Hey bob
I just run a compaction plate harbor freight has for 600
Send a link.
Or a just use a steam roller. I don't know why they have to make it so complicated..
@@Losas.Companylmfao you know it was a joke
@@lp1119 sorry I didn’t know 😂 🤦♂️
This tool is actually $65.
Its priced cheap cuz its not really necessary so people think oh its only 50 bucks I'll jus buy it.
Montolit makes one that cost's $300. Italian tool company for decades making the best tile tools
dude just press and move the tile a bit you would achieve a better result
65 bucks
These vibrating things are a faddish trend, not necessary, don't perform well and a waste of money. Although as a suction cup it looks to work really good and priced right. Enjoy the channel, keep up the good work.
This does work better than smacking it with a mallet when you install let's say 24" x 48" tiles for flooring or shower walls.
Yea, can't hit a large format tile that is 6mm thick with a mallet, it all depends on what you are working with@@LandbergTileTV
Go Berg!
Nice tool, great deal!
