My only gripe is finding her lol. Never saw her, and she hasn't been made available since. Crazy how a main character like this can be so hard to get.
I believe (and hope) this will be released generally sometime soon. Just like the wolf/ray figures they were target first then delayed release elsewhere. It's sad the availability is not clear to us.
i really like this figure. She is SUPER pretty. From head to toe.
I have her posed with a mic in her hand, interviewing other characters. That's, more or less exactly what I wanted her for, so I'm super happy with her. This is also my first and only April figure, which is pretty cool. Over all, I'd give her an 8/10

To answer the question of the day, I lean towards aesthetic but ONLY if the figure has good enough articulation for who it is, to get them in iconic or fitting poses and whatnot.
I do think this figure is slightly lacking in both departments, but she’s kind of cool still
I'm an articulation whoore.
I want my shit to pose, and pose appropriately; in the case of april here, she should be able to hold her stuff naturally and be able to sit.
She definitely don't need to be able to do ninja shit....though if she could I wouldn't complain but it's not needed.

What do you think about NECA's Sewer of Vengeance for 300 dollars without taxes or shipping?
I haven't paid any attention to it. Wasn't interested before i knew the price. Definitely not paying 300 for a dio set. Just not my thing.

Her face is beautiful. A big improvement.
For me what counts most in action figures will usually still be aesthetics, even at the cost of moving range. And honestly, unless you have a Spider-Man or some other character that is known for really extreme poses, I don’t care if a figure can kick all the way up or whether the arm goes past 90. Most action figures have a range of movement that perfectly fits the character anyway. I see no need for a Ninja Turtle doing the ‘walking backwards from the stairs’ thing from the Exorcist or Luke Skywalker doing crazy yoga poses.
I posed mine with the upper torso leaning back and head leaning down to make the neck appear shorter. Love her accessories and how well she holds them. Might not be the perfect April but I think it's the best April figure.

But now with the new version release, you won't be able to sell the old one, simply because nobody would want this now (especially at such outrageous scalper's prices like 600$). And in comparison to the new one, that first release was kinda bad.
Anthony, terrible distribution on this release. I have gone through 6 updated release dates which unfortunately most folks know means your order is cancelled. I do have the original release.l also have the BST version. Smaller scale but I do have some or their TMNT figures. Oh well. As far as the execution ratio 65% aesthetic 35% articulation is fine for me. Great review ✌️
The elbows remind me of Marvel Legends trying to figure out female anatomy
Anthony, try putting that new April head on your old April body. The neck part will look better.

It’s a different body? I thought they just changed the head and that’s why the neck seemed out of proportion?
@@jarosbodytko6462 upper body of the newer one is different and has a longer neck. lower body seems to be the same
I think she looks good, but i do think it would have looked better if the head was sitting just a touch lower on the neck. I alos think it would have been nice if they added the black lines near the clavicle.

I think she looks pretty good but yes the neck and those arm joints are very odd. For the question of the day I definitely want it to be a good balance of aesthetic 45% and articulation 55% I'd say since they need to look good on camera and move well for my stop motion projects
I never seen this figure in stores.
It's so weird to see Neca figures that aren't 7 inches.
I thought April was black.
She was supposed to be asian, but named after a black and then was to be maintained as mixed. The cartoon made her white and most kids know her as white since then.

Like all the fans I was waiting for this cartoon figures for ever untill Neca did it so for me articulation is not very important on this specially when they look that radically (yeah I did it lol) they just awesome to display so for me they look great. I did get April but it has an imperfection on the neck but still looks great and accessories well she has a bunch of stuff that you can use with the rest of the figures. Will try to do a video when I have a chance to show the neck imperfection.

I never bought into Neca TMNT figures, because Neca's availability of the figures is absolutely detrimental to the line. I'll stick with Super 7 Ultimates, because I never have to overpay for a figure.
But with super 7 you have to overpay at msrp. Boom roasted
After that a lot of them go on sale, so if you want to wait and get a vast majority on sale, you can.@@AnthonysCustoms

This is my first time even *seeing* this figure, so it being so hard to find is really annoying.
I think it’s a great figure. My complaints or nitpicks really are her legs. I don’t know if it’s her cargo pockets but her thighs seem too wide. I’m fine with the yellow and white with the paint apps. I agree with the neck and the elbows. You can finagle her into some really good poses.
I need this but its almost impossible to get in my country.

Isn't that the same body as the first release? Seems NECA only changed the headsculpt an the upper torso element. Of course the headsculpt looks better but with the current availability and prices i couldn't care less for this update.

Wanted an April my collection, but this updated release is not to my wallet's standards- easy pass. Hopefully one day, we will get an on-model April with better paint job. I can't justify buying this just to have an "April", if I'm buying something it has to be what is. The only other way I would buy it, if I was using it for fodder and that's not even justifying me to get it.
Pff, and what exactly your complaints are? I doubt that neca will make another regular April (they were discussing her variants in dresses and coats). I mean, they were delaying this figure almost 3 years.
The neck problem (which isn't problem at all if you push it all the way through) and arm joints (Neca will never pay for a new joints, they'll just color it differently) aren't that critical, especially in comparison to the previous releases. And knowing Neca, you won't get an April figure at all.
@@jeremiahnapier2516 I already said it in my original post. If Neca never makes another one, so be it. I could care less, as there are other things I can buy. At the end of the day, it's my wallet, my money, I won't kowtow to a company's offering if it doesn't meet my expectations nor will I buy something because a lot of people like it. I'm the one who puts in the hours of work to get a paycheck to buy my figures. No one funds my purchases. If people like this release, good for them. But at the end of the day, I could care less what people like, as I'm the one with the wallet. My wallet. I make my own decision and in this case: Easy Pass.
