Very cute but I had to stop watching when that little cat was on the balcony rail. Horrible. Some people need to value their pets more and realize what a precious gift they are.
I had 2 cats jump off the balcony from 2 stories up. Took me 3 weeks to get them back. One was trapped by a neighbors windowsill for over a week and had to go into her apt to be rescued.
Now no cats allowed out on my balcony

The cat with the bird reminds me of something I witnessed whilst getting ready for my wedding out in Ghana. I've related this tale before, elsewhere, but I guess it can do with a repeat. The hotel we ( my finance, my parents and I) had windows facing onto a patch of common land. Here, the local chickens would forage, and some of them had chicks. There were also cats about: feral or not, I couldn't say. There was one, a black cat, who used to follow the hens and chicks, clearly looking to pick a straggler off. Early one morning, it looked like its luck was in, because one of the chicks dawdled and fell considerably behind, far enough so that the cat took its chance and grabbed it. It hadn't gone unnoticed, however, for, with a furious squawk, the hen concerned rushed at the cat and pecked it. I wasn't close enough to see where the peck landed, but the chick was dropped, the hen and its little cluster of chicks went one way, and the cat stalked off in the opposite direction shaking its head as it did so. I assume that it got roundly pecked on the head for itd audacity, and was left with ringing ears for a while!

The cat on the balcony railing isn’t funny. I’ve seen cats critically injured or killed. Some people should never have pets. I understand this was likely in India, but if anyone has a pet, they should care for it better. Most countries don’t have screens, which is scary. I’d put a screen door in, even if I have to build it.
