Disagree, players break sticks and lose blades (equipment failure) with no whistle. Now the official should be able to differentiate between equipment and injury. Huge difference between a goalie trying to play through a lost blade or losing his stick as opposed to trying to push through injury and potentially furthering the damage
@@mattmackay106 I think the main argument here should be this is a preseason game, literally does not matter. Just give him the whistle, or maybe he should have just let Vegas score since again the game does not matter.
I guess Frankie should of thrown his helmet off. The ref was right next to him. This tells me the refs don't care about Players Safety. The ref told Frankie to keep playing. I hate the refs every year it's the same thing with them.
@@espere5368 The refs ignoring Frankie when anyone could tell he was injured is stupid. I was at the game I could tell he was. This was a stupid preseason game. It didn't mean anything to either team.
@@marie2274 Im frankie fan long time and still better frankie with injure leg than francouz withouteets and broken nose XD Of course it was stupid choice dont stop match and its very important listen goalies but im not sure if take helmet off was right choice :)
@@espere5368 Agreed, the ref was right next to him. I guess I feel for Frankie because he missed all last season and now injured again in a stupid preseason game which didn't mean nothing. I have a very strong dislike for the Knights and the Bruins.

Rule 206 section B-When a player is injured and is unable to continue play or go to their bench, play shall be stopped immediately unless the opposing team is in possession of the puck, in which case play shall not be stopped until a change of possession has occurred.
I thought it was whistled dead immediately if a goalie is injured. This the third call within the last three years when the ref really should have blown it dead for an injury and didnt for the Avs. The other two were bad concussions due to pucks to the face, which again are typically blown immediately.
@@TimestampGuy2020 nah it's my bad, i thought when francouz got ran by Carrier it was a factor that led to his injury and was also a questionable no call.
Hate to see this happen to Frankie again... and glad to see the golden refs are in full force still...
Yeah this was something I was questioning myself.
Even with a skate blade issue, they need to stop play so idk why this happened.
Agreed. If the goalie is unable to move the play needs to whistled dead immediately. Should be treated the same as the goalie losing his bucket.

I get that it's the rules and they're for a reason I just think it's one of those odd rules that could be changed down the line is all.

id be screaming at the ref after the whistle
Yet Vegas got the the play stopped instantly when one of their player got injured

Throw helmet off will be dangerous in this situation. Imagine if in same time will Vegas defender shooting.

These Refs in Vegas r so biased bro
my habs still beat the odds tho
Gotta wait for change in possession for any player
Not if there's an injury

Looks like a knee
Should have just removed his mask.
My thoughts exactly
Hopefully its nothing serious, his bad luck in the NHL is just awful. And geez ref.
I thought this was going to show that he got ran by the vegas player.
Nah, tweaked his knee or something as he slid into the post.
@@TimestampGuy2020 they didn't take a run at him?
No, as he slid across I think he popped his right knee.. still waiting on an update.
