I found it interesting that when Jesus heals the blind man in Bethsaida, it was the only healing recorded in Scripture that is not "immediate". I think it tied in with the 2 part healing that you spoke about. I think these verses shows that all healing doesn't happen in the blink of an eye. It sometimes require time. And I think that's where the faith and belief comes in. Thanks for the study. I hope you finish the book of Matthew.
I also had the thought that maybe the blind man had a little bit of doubt in his heart, that maybe his own doubt was holding him back from getting the full healing and when Jesus healed him to blurry vision his faith was restored and thought "oh this is real" and that's when he got his full healing. But I also think that you are right about sometimes it takes a little bit of time. But how much of that is because you have doubt in your hearts? (Edit: I just re read this and I'm not trying to sound like I'm calling anyone a doubter I'm just saying that doubt is something I think everyone deals with and im not trying to sound like how I just read that to sound)

Wow I’m so stuck right now in life feeling like a failure. I’ve been wanting to read this chapter for a couple of months but God had different plans. The part Jesus heals a blind man had me crying. God spoke to me about my struggles that I am having and it’s going to take time. I forget God has a plan I always try to do it my way and need to have faith and believe that my faith will keep growing as long as I put Jesus first. Also the way of the cross was another favorite. Thank you friend for doing these bible studies.

I believe Jesus is the Messiah! This was such a good breakdown. I’m new to reading the Bible so sometimes the parables blow right over my head but you did an amazing job explaining this. Love from a 15 year old trying to really get into reading the Bible with purpose.❤
My favorite part was when the disciples are in the boat and it says they had forgotten to bring bread , except for the loaf that was in the boat with them. Jesus is the loaf that was with them. It reminds me of when they were in the storm and Jesus was in the boat again with them sleeping. Jesus is with us in the storms and he will get to the other side with us of that storm. Here Jesus is the loaf of bread in the boat with them .. he will provide all we need he is our living bread. He will supply all our needs and he will do it abundantly.
