I have small group of buddies here that all have these H3's. The consensus is that the H3 is probably the best radio for the money. It makes some insane contacts for an HT. It really gets out and the receive is better than most.
I'm still learning. What would you think about very mild and low volume music (more neutral style of music) similar to this: ua-cam.com/video/x_rhmFntwwc/v-deo.html I tried the video without music and it feels weird if the narration is slower speed like mine and the one in the link.
I bought two and I wish I didn't they let all type of interference in from all over the place so I don't use them I have a tid gm 5r and it's better than h3

I agree. For $30 you can't beat it. If someone knows a better radio for the price...let me know.

Hmm...which bands have the most interference? Are you using the stock antenna?
