    Holy crap man, cant believe you ripped that thing apart with confidence. Jeez man, really cool to see the inner workings of the 6 speed.
    Cool video man! hope one day you can officially say your sponsored by a company. That would be really cool. keep grinding away at the build and no grinding gears 😁🤘🤘

      Well in all fairness I've torn apart 2 different 5 speed gearboxes in the past. And I did successfully rebuild one of them.
      Cheers!!

    lol yeah I watched Sam Pickering's videos too. Glad your making more content on the 6 speed. Not a whole lot of helpful videos on UA-cam to reference if a guy is wanting to open one of these up.

      Yeah, I agree there isn't a lot out there to reference. I'm planning on showing as much detail as I can with this aspect of the build.

      Thanks a ton! Eventually it will happen. I'm trying to focus on what I think is fun and interesting and not what would get me more views and subs. Growth may take longer this way but authenticity is important to me.

    IAG Carbon synchros?

    • @sleeper_motorsport
      @sleeper_motorsport  8 місяців тому

      Possibly. I was just looking at those and they seem nice. Apparently there are some oem carbon synchros that were installed in certain later years as well. Not sure whats better but I do think IAG products are solid.

    Does the front crown wheel have etchings on like the rear differential crown wheel does? Thanks.

      I'm not sure but I will check today and get back to you. Do you mean the etchings that show the tooth count etc?

      Hey sorry for the delayed response. Got sidetracked and spaced it. I did check it out and I don’t see any etching on the front crown
