Thanks for showing us how to get to Efteling. You have inspired us to try next year. Keukenhof first then Efteling.
You should be able to tap in and out with your contactless bank card in trains and buses, or even your phone if you have contactless payments enabled.
's Hertogenbosch or Den Bosch for short literally means the Duke's Forrest, Hertog=Duke and Bosch=ForrestSame with The Hague, Den Haag or 's-Gravenhage. It means the count's hague, forrest or garden. Graaf=Count and Haag=garden

We did this. We went to Duinrell first then onto Efteling using bus & train. It was so easy to do!
The s in 's Hertogenbosch is merged when pronounced, like the 's in s'mores becomes smores. And in the process the h is dropped.
Doesn't it make more sense to travel via Rotterdam?
Perhaps, but we wanted to visit Amsterdam :D
