There are so many reactions on You Tube to this performance. Your reaction was one of my favorites. I love the way you tried to predict what was going to happen . . . the prediction that at first she would be uncomfortable but then she would be very comfortable once she started to sing . . . so you were expecting that, right? And even though you were expecting it (because you've seen enough of these shows), you still looked shocked out of your mind. LOL! And I love that you didn't talk during the performance or look away . . . your eyes and face said it all. Everyone seems to look a little perplexed at the very beginning of the performance, they don't know quite to make of it at first (even Heidi Klum looked perplexed), and then their expression changes. Tonya Barlow Howie can't sign her but Simon can. Once she clears any contracts from the voice, I don't know how far she can go ICE might give her problems performing in the US. Connie Talbot won BGT, but she has a problem getting into the US to perform. That was 4 years or so ago. I don't know about now, part of the prize is a performance in Vegas.
She's been performing since at least 2015, quite a lot of youtube videos found. Last year she was on The Voice UK. America likes this kind of outstanding performance so ppl will vote for her no doubt. The late Michael Jackson was timid and shy, but his performances were out of this world. Same with Prince as he was reclusive. Its quite a common occurance for great performers to be shy. There is this energy inside that bursts out.
