One issue I saw with Magnet Man is when he does the magnet pull as long as the enemy is close, he ends it even if they are in the air, which means no free hit.
The Magnet Missile itself had some pretty glaring consistency issues as well. If the enemy's moving while it's thrown then unless they're super big or sometimes in the air, it'll just straight up miss. Cut Man's movement speed in the air is super low but you see it a bit more against for example Super Flash Man.
Really interesting seeing Crystal Man this time around, was really not expecting anyone from 5 just yet. Now the only nes game we don’t have a single robot master from is 4 iirc. Looking forward to seeing toad man because I wonder if against an ai he’s as garbage as he is normally. Probably but like still
I've been wondering about Toad Man too. I think he's gonna get 0-20ed by anyone who spams attacks quickly like Fire Man but he might be able to get 20-0s against anyone who doesn't do that. I also wonder how a screen killer attack like rain flush will interact with Air Man's tornadoes.
@@HatchyackI would think the rain flush would be very effective against Air man. Since it doesn’t really go from top to bottom like a wave but instead just appears over the whole screen. But I’m not sure he would have time to use it much if he’s getting bombarded by tornados.
Toad Man is definitely gonna be the low tier killer specifically since he’d probably only have a chance against those slower attacking guys like Guts Man/Flash Man/Knight Man and in those scenarios he’d very likely dominate Toad Man might also have a shot against the MM6 guys if he gets lucky and they just jump around
Magnet Man definitely put in a great effort! Even if he didn't win as often, he was by no means a pushover! Also, he's cool as heck. Yet another high flyer is crystal man, whose AI seems to randomize between jumping and crystal blasting, also pretty cool!
These two look like they're going to be spoilers in the league going forward. Magnet Man didn't win much, but he put up a good fight against every one, including the Twin Kings of Destruction Air and Heat, and Crystal Man only needs a few lucky bounces to beat anybody.
Magnet Man keeps things interesting by always keeping in motion or out of reach of most attacks. And when he does stop moving all over the place, he's in a mostly invincible state. He's not going to run circles around everyone, but he's going to make matches exciting. Pretty sweet. Crystal Man fared worse than I thought, lol. His four crystal balls are pretty much guaranteed damage, but that's not enough from what I see.

I'm excited for Wave Man. The water spout attack lingers and blocks projectiles and the harpoon is pretty slow so it might be good at consistently hitting the enemy.
@@andrewle4989 the water spout doesnt appear directly below of an enemy, the harpoon can be easily deflected and dodged, and wave man jumping directly to player position after shooting the harpoon will give him a lot of hits in the air (centaur man, top man, air man, bubble man, wood man) and when he lands directly over the robot master (heat man, top man, charge man, magnet man, wind man, and the shielded ones). Magnet Man looks like a low tier that gives trouble to high tiers and hope to other low tiers. Crystal Man looks like a lower-mid due to his attack frequency and choice filtering through RNG.
Great to see Magnet Man and a rep from 5 in Crystal man!! I thought Magnet Man would do better, but he cancels his invincible magnet pull if the enemy is close. Sure, free hit on the ground, but if they are in the air then it didn't do anything at all.
Oh hell yes, Magnet Man is one of my favorites! Not for his fight in Mega Man 3, mind. I like his weapon, his music, his look, and he's fun to fight in The Power Fighters.
I am a little perplexed as to why Magnet Man's magnet attack sometimes wears off really quickly without actually hitting the enemy. It feels as though it ends early because the coding thinks it hit the enemy, when it didn't? Also, hey, I like how competitive Crystal Man can be. He seems to suffer from the unfortunate condition that regular Guts Man has, however: he has two distinct moves and one of them is vastly superior to the other. Just like Guts Man can either jump (for no contact damage) or throw a boulder, Crystal Man can either throw a singular projectile that's likely to miss, or throw four bouncing projectiles that are almost guaranteed to hit once, sometimes twice. There's a lot of RNG involved as a result. I like him though! Looking forward to the very aggressive Charge Man and Needle Man!
@@RamManNo1 Needle Man is almost like Metal Man, but gets closer instead of avoid you. I wonder if his headbutt can pierce or even destroy shields like Top Man
@@RamManNo1 I think NeedleMan becomes #3 behind AirMan and HeatMan. Suspect matchups against shields and other defense, but dominates basically everything else.
After a certain point, Capcom started making the Robot Masters easier. You'll notice most of the latter ones attack way less than most of the earlier ones.
Figure it's gotta be another MM3 RM. So what we have left is Hard Man, Snake Man, Needle Man, Gemini Man, and Magnet Man. Out of these I'm most excited for Magnet Man and Gemini Man. Magnet Man because I think he has potential to be another god tier, very mobile and spending a lot of his time at the top of the screen, shooting very quick projectiles that semi-home in, and when he is on the ground he's usually sucking you into his shield (is he truly invincible in this state or is it more like Wood Man's case where say an invincible dash attack or odd projectile could hurt him?) Gemini Man because of how bizarre it'll be. I have no idea what to expect. Could be one of the worst or one of the best or anything in between. Could be another dude that changes the meta, like Top Man, and demolishes god tiers while losing to lesser tiers. The remaining three I expect to be fairly mid tier like Shadow Man or Spark Man.
What meta means here? Also Metal Man and Fire Man arent so mid, at best they are A, being Fire Man straightforward and Metal Man inconsistent, bc he can lose against C tiers Bomb Man and Centaur Man Also Magnet Man is truely invencible when he does the sucking move, there isn't a shield, but the moment he makes damage with it he cancels the attack and jumps near to the opposite wall
I expect Gemini Man to be the last one added. Pretty sure is not that easy to code his AI. The clone and the fact both stop moving when the opponent (you) fire at them, might be a tricky code to do
@@Rakghe Meta is an acronym meaning "Most Effective Tactic Avaliabe"; in vs games it generally refers to top tiers, such as what Crash, Wood or Air would be currently
@@Shadowflutter196 I agree, it'll be especially weird having Gemini Man in group matches (whom would they circle?) and also fighting in any terrain that isn't just a single flat surface unless it has those up arrow things.
Well damn! I was wrong about Magnet Man. He's just... decent. Not great at all. Def nowhere close to god tier. At least he didn't have any 0-20 matchups even against Air Man and Heat Man so he's still no chump. Reflecting on why, seems his projectiles miss a lot more than I was expecting. Even though they have decent speed and aim down, I think the fact that they are always coming from the top of the screen gives the opponent enough time to walk away from the spot they are targeting, that plus he somehow ends up right above the opponent a lot of the time and then just shoots the magnets straight out into the ether. Also while his invincible field thing is pretty good he seems to end up trading blows a lot with it because he stops using it the moment the opponent is hit by it leaving himself as a really close target. I think Magnet Man would be more lethal if A. he shot the magnets from a slightly lower height (except against Air Man) and B. he kept his invincible field up for a set amount of time regardless of if the opponent gets hit by it. Not saying these should be implemented as he's already pretty good haha, just as a hypothetical.
They were.. a lot more mediocre than expected, I would've thought that Crystal would bedazzle Metal Man with the Multi Bounce, and he came really close, but no; as for Magnet, the way he interacts with crossups is really funny, even if it means he just cancels his attack before the hitbox comes out
Seems like Magnet Man's actually got trouble with opponents that crowd him, given the way he kept shooting past anyone right under him. Tomahawk and Knight might have a chance?!

Magnet Man is a good support, but Crystal Man not left behind.
Great to see Magnet Man and a rep from 5 in Crystal man!! I thought Magnet Man would do better, but he cancels his invincible magnet pull if the enemy is close. Sure, free hit on the ground, but if they are in the air then it didn't do anything at all.
Even the Crystal Man?! Wow!
My Boy Magnetman!!!!
Air Man vs. Wind Man. Since they're rivals, I wish to know which one would win in a battle.
Magnet Man cancels his magnet pull attack if the opponent is at the same horizontal position as him
Needle Man is going to massacre everyone. (Except Plant Man😅) He might even be able to beat Air Man I think.
@@Shadowflutter196 I actually had a different comparison for NeedleMan. To me, he looks like FireMan with mobility.
MAGNET MAN?
ロックマン3の全8ボスを出す前にロックマン5のクリスタルマンが先に出るとは意外だった!?
you'd think magnetman would have done much better
same with crystal man, but it seems Wily didn't spend time on their brains
After a certain point, Capcom started making the Robot Masters easier. You'll notice most of the latter ones attack way less than most of the earlier ones.
...Huh. This video isn't showing up in my subscription tab. Weird.
Crystal Man is a pool shark!
We need a super chrystal where he always uses 4 projectiles instead of 1
クリスタルマンきたー\[^∇^]/本当にロックマン5のBgm好きです
Figure it's gotta be another MM3 RM. So what we have left is Hard Man, Snake Man, Needle Man, Gemini Man, and Magnet Man. Out of these I'm most excited for Magnet Man and Gemini Man.
Magnet Man because I think he has potential to be another god tier, very mobile and spending a lot of his time at the top of the screen, shooting very quick projectiles that semi-home in, and when he is on the ground he's usually sucking you into his shield (is he truly invincible in this state or is it more like Wood Man's case where say an invincible dash attack or odd projectile could hurt him?)
Gemini Man because of how bizarre it'll be.
Also Metal Man and Fire Man arent so mid, at best they are A, being Fire Man straightforward and Metal Man inconsistent, bc he can lose against C tiers Bomb Man and Centaur Man
Also Magnet Man is truely invencible when he does the sucking move, there isn't a shield, but the moment he makes damage with it he cancels the attack and jumps near to the opposite wall
I think I just watch the videos just for Air Man being a bully
Oh! Who could this be!?
magnet man still has a very satisfying firing sound for his attack
For whatever reason you don't appear in my subscription videos even though I'm subscribed
Sad how Magnet Man's pull beats Wind Man's pull.
マグネット・エアーは挙動がみていて面白いな
これで3ボスは全コンプかな…スネーク・ジェミニ・ニードルがまだか?
They were.. a lot more mediocre than expected, I would've thought that Crystal would bedazzle Metal Man with the Multi Bounce, and he came really close, but no; as for Magnet, the way he interacts with crossups is really funny, even if it means he just cancels his attack before the hitbox comes out
Magnet Man es demasiado rápido para su bien, cuando termina de atacar, se expone a ser atacado mientras baja y salta porque el otro no termina su ataque todavía, y su campo magnético lo anula antes de que lo toquen. Me decepcionó ;-;
Por el momento, Crystal y Magnet están en algún punto entre C y D tier. Todo apunta a que el más fuerte de todo MM3 va a terminar siendo Top Man
Seems like Magnet Man's actually got trouble with opponents that crowd him, given the way he kept shooting past anyone right under him.
Tomahawk and Knight might have a chance?!
@@AnotherCraig Anything to make my boy Knight get some Ws for once...
Poor Magnet Man his POOWEER wasn't enough to beat Air Man
Toad Man, plz 🐸
bro i feel so dissapointed about magnet man ;-;
Thats is a 6-8 lead and the two robot heroes has lost the game.

Lol, they fought in Blizzard Man's stage?
@fireflocs oh I blew it haha B^D. Blizzard vs Crystal's battle is in the trash
what that means? :'v
@Rakghe It's about a battle clip that unused in this video because it was boring 8-)
@MegaMan-Victory and what about the rushdown twins, heat man vs top man? or top man vs crash man? who wins? is he a top tier like his name suggests? how many battle clips were unused in total since the beginning of the channel?
@@Rakghe I plan to hold some kind of tag tournament at someday. please wait 8). I had a lot of unused clips, but videos are so big that I delete them quickly B^D
