THANKS FOR THIS I am so in love with him, he is such a wonderful human, I am so happy he answered this question. So happy he was finally able to do an in person panel without creation feeding him the questions
@@greenmusic4787 mm-mm no, Misha is totally supportive of Destiel and has been playing Cas to be in love with Dean for the past 4 seasons, he's said so himself. The confession was romantic, canonically, and Misha absolutely supports it. In a Zoom meet with the writers and crew of the show Misha talked about how beautiful it was, and even called it a "homosexual declaration of love", and all the writers nodded along. The confession was definitely romantic and Misha absolutely supports it.
@@riyak.7393 I agree with the original poster. Destiel is an interesting way to view the relationship, but it's subtext at best. The writers never fully realized a romantic relationship between the two characters. Dean never acknowledged it either, even when Castiel sacrificed himself. I'm flabbergasted that you think it's unquestionably canonical when it's clearly left to the imagination. Did the writers play with the idea? Sure. Did they set it in stone? No. Are the actors going to agree with fans because they don't want to alienate the lgbt community? Yes.
That was deep and carefully thought out, and well said! For me it was a double edge sword ! But, it did entertain veiwers from diferent and all walks of life, to interpret it to their life styles and beliefs. Excellent move Misha, One that made and provided the show with more viewers, made money, and Much more popular after season 4. Mr Collins you are as talented as you are handsome, or visa versa!🤗❤

his smile at 0:15 seeing the queer community cheering. that was sweet.
I thought his smile was the opposite. Awkward instead kind of like "it was not supposed to be interpreted that way "
@@greenmusic4787 you mean it was not supposed to be interpreted as romantic?
@@riyak.7393 yes exactly
