I feel for tifa the most, just finished the game yesterday and played the og as well, lost her mum, dad, friends, home, her new home, her bar, her best friend in Aerith and the guy she likes is going insane.

The end is in clouds head aerith died but he refused to believe that. The devs said, when we see clouds mouth moving but we dont hear anything he is actually saying the og ff7 lines there, things like aerith will no longer talk no longer laugh. They are literally sitting in front of the water pool where cloud layed aerith on the water in the og ff7. Cloud did the same thing in rebirth as well but clouds head is super f*ed up that he doesn’t even remember it.
