Simply Awesome! Very inspiring speech. I too, lost everything in 1995. I became a grit in the eye of my relatives & a few friends. Time has put me on acid test. I used to sell mathdi/mathee which was made by my wife outside the Gurudwara gate in Hyderabad. Did many odd jobs. Repaired mortuaries and body freezers (a cooling unit where dead bodies are kept). Many people were scared to do that job because they believed that the bhoot or spirits will chase you. My personal experience says "bhoot prait" se jyada jinda insaan tang karte hain. Jo mar gaye, woh kisika kuch nahi bigaadte. I couldn't beg, neither could I steal because i was born & brought up in an atmosphere where, all anti social activities were considered very bad. My kids, studied in famous schools. I couldn't afford the fees. I used to meet the principal very often and tell them - I'm not asking for charity. I will pay the complete 1 year fees in 1 or 2 installments but, please do not put my kid's names on the defaulters list. Today, I'm proud that my kids have graduated & my son is an RJ with a radio station. My daughter is pursuing her studies in French language. I'm working in Dubai as a showroom manager. I have heard/watched videos of various motivational speakers and come this far. I have studied till 10th standard. Nothing is impossible - if you are confident.
Your story is so inspired sir...my hubby lost everything today. He have no job and he is broken, depressed now. He studied dip. Mechanical. He has 12+ years experience in forging. But today he have no job. He is searching for new job but not getting opportunities. I will definitely tell him your story to inspire him.
