When I was studying trombone at Eastman School of Music, Mr. Huehn was on the vocal faculty. He was well past his performance days , Even at his advanced age he was a very imposing handsome figure. Sadly he died during my tenure at Eastman which saddened my teacher, Emory Remington, quite a bit. He said Huehn was his friend. Indeed I often saw them in conversation sitting on a bench in the main hall of the school.
