What I don't mind (and could even say I like): leveling each car up, as it kind of symbolizes the driver becoming more and more familiar with the machine and, as mentioned in the video, potentially feeling more attached to it. What I don't like: the fixed upgrade unlock path, also mentioned in the video. Here I think they could have been more flexible in allowing the player more freedom to choose how they would like to spend their "car credits". EDIT: at the end of the video, I learned that you have to level up from scratch even if you buy another vehicle of the same exatct kind. OK, now that seems a bit too much.

Agree with this fully. I personally never played any of the GT games but I am sure it has its fun times and moments. But sadly, people need to wave a fucking plastic box flag and feel validated for the purchase of their toy. Quite a pathetic childish world we live in.
Hey, great great review. Well said and well executed. Like a few others have said here im enjoying the car progression and level system, its very refreshing to have this carpg concept, at the end of the day while it has 500 cars everyone will end up with 3 to 5 of there favourite cars for each car class generally based off the meta for each car class, no one is truly going to grind 500 car to level 50 but the grind is there for those who love it, on the flip side look at GT7 its a complete and utter grind fest just to purchase a $20million car and then have to spend absurd amount of money to upgrade the car, all to do it again and again almost forcing you to make micro transactions so you dont miss out with the fomo effect as the cars come and go from the store. I myself would take the carpg grind anyday of the week and grind the cars that will be the meta, the career mode or cars i personally love. But thanks again great review. Subbed
Enjoying it but they need to add a 120fps option it looks really washed out. I don't want to compare it to gt7 because they feel very different I have both but gt 7 look gorgeous but is kinda boring and has a boring grind to unlock one car take all day. All this game needs is a graphical boost of some sort

OFC it’s not a sim, just like GT. Racing sims are not games, but apps meant to simulate real cars. For me the thing they simulate with 100% accuracy is boredom. And burning large sums of money to waste your life on pixel cars and plastic toy wheels.

Yeah, leveling is a bit weird in this game. Thanks for engaging with the video by the way, how did you find the video itself? Was it recommend or ?
@@GamingInstincts UA-cam recommended it to me. Keep up the good work!

It’s really not bad. The car levels pretty fast as you normally race.
Both Forza and GT7 are amazing games and instead of being praised they are bashed for click bait videos.

The Ai looks so dumb, I can't 😂
Yeah it's a bit weird, even on 3/8 difficulty
Turn it up to 7 and then give it a go plus all penalties. Name me another game that has better race ai?

I feel like its unfair to say that its not a sim, it all depends what settings you play with
I'll skip it. The moment I hear the word accessible in a racing game I know it's not for me.
How so? There are plenty of options to make it very "unaccessiable" for those that want a more hardcore ruleset/realistic driving.
