Hi Emily, The bumper bar was actually NOT added until the very last minute. This video was shot over a year ago and prior to the release of the stroller. So the model we were using actually didn't have the pivoting bumper bar. Obviously all of the production models now have this great feature!

Excellent, was gonna buy a bugaboo cameleon for my expected baby in the winter but definately going to wait for the new c3 as all the consumer requests looks like they've been taken into account and fixed!! So glad they're doing an all black edition as well because I really like that!!!thanks for the video, really excellent!!

It was announced today that an additional feature was added to the Bugaboo Cameleon 3 / C3. On the current Cameleon, the bumper bar is removed with two white buttons on each side. Both side need to be opened in order to remove it. On the C3 there will be a pivot feature, allowing the parent to open one side, pivot the bar and access the child.
You will not need to lay the stroller on the floor at all to open it. You can simply swing it open if you'd like. Hope that helps!

Hi there, at the end you said that we could use the car seat adapter with the old and new models, is that true for the maxi cosi adapter as well?
with the new car seat adapter is it going to be universal .. able to use any other car seat with it ?
Hi Marlene - The information that you received is not accurate. We have heard from other customers that some retailers have told them the previous models will not work because those stores don't have the previous fabric kits available to sell their customers. Tomorrow we will have our staff take a photo of the C3
The front wheels appear to attach differently to the current model. The tops of the wheels on my C1 have worn through from touching the ground during unfolding, do the new ones still touch the ground during unfolding?
Are the rear wheels in the second generation air filled or foam?
When did Bugaboo start producing their cameleon 3 with extendable canopy?
Is it possible to purchase a C3 chassis and use my C2 seat frame on it?
@georgietoningup, it appears you were given misinformation by someone at a less informed store. The canopy and apron of the current tailored fabric kits will definitely work on the C3. This has been confirmed and was tested by NessaLee Baby on the same day this video was shot. The seat inlays wont fit because the harness holes will be different, but if someone was willing to cut new holes it would work as well since the seat is the same size.
