Too long. I've been busy taking care of my parents. That train derailment in East Palestine, OH happened and it's less than 5 miles from my house, and then my Dad was in the hospital, and as he was recovering at home my Mom was in the hospital. But thank Jesus, they're both much better now and I was able to finally finish this video!
This is actually my new favorite show. I legitimately might make a VHS tape of this. The TWR is so nostalgic to me and seeing these layouts is just the best. Thank you.
Man, these videos are just the best. Every creative choice adds to the sort of… world that these videos create for me to fall into. I know, I know, who ever thought a toy review series could be… immersive? But that’s the best word I can use to describe it. It’s like I’m watching a program right after The Joy of Painting on PBS as I drift off to sleep. Excellent work as always. No matter how long it takes for you to put out the next installment in this series, I will be there excited to watch. As for other sets, this would be a more oddball pick as it’s less play table-oriented, but I was always fascinated by the “Percy Takes the Plunge” set. Mostly for its inclusion of the special breakaway buffers and TWO grey troublesome trucks, items which are now so sought after by TWR fans. IIRC there are also some classic TWR sets that came with extra materials like a storybook or special accessories? I could be wrong about that though. That could also be a fun thing to review.
I love that set and yeah they should have added two coal cars to the set. I think I use to have that, don’t know what happened to it? I do think the ramp that goes up once you passed the crane should be extended. Nice review of this set 👍🏻
As someone getting back into Wooden Railway, how should I approach using (a limited number of) switches in a way that avoids making engines need to reverse in order to cross between circuits? It looks like I'll be getting two MMF 3.5" switches, one MMF 6.5" switch, and one FFM 6.5" switch.
It’s been so long

@@WQJP I’m sorry all that happened and I am happy everyone is ok.
