Looks great but a bit boring to play.. still I don't care if others call it bad. Its Chaos Angel, a place from Sonic Advance, which was sadly never represented in the original Sonic Generations except for a route 99 remix.. which was originally from sonic battle for the gba. Thats really all I'd ever want if Sonic Generations suddenly got more DLC. Sonic Advance is so underrated.
If you could, try making some references to the source stage for your 2D sections. Also, drawing things out and proper planning go a long way. I"m really glad to see you're sticking this stage out and getting things done. I can't wait to see the end.
That is the first section's slow route, based off of the beginning of act 1 on Advance 3. It will still have that cannon spring route from the previous update, but it will be a quick step segment to get to it instead of the platform it used to be. The 2D section also still has that slow route from last time, I just have not ported the seesaw from City Escape yet to replace the spring, so the section currently goes to a dead end.
Dario finished the unleashed project, someone should convince his team to start a project of remastering all the stages from Sonic 1, 2, and 3&K, with remastered music, and they can have NicoCW handle that
You need someone to co-op help you with this so when your busy the other can work on it or both can work it at same time. It dissapoints fans to see a new stage still in development after like 9 months :(
It's a great start but there's level design issues you should address sooner rather than later. I find that the first section is slow paced and not just for Sonic either. You start out fast and in seconds you're slowing down. Lose the platforms IMO, and change the air enemies to ground ones. Your 3D areas in general are also way too big. On the positive, the 2D section is nice (just give it a lower path that leads to a different rail with no rainbow ring) but it all feels disjointed right now
Well, never say never. One of the main reasons why there has not been any updates is because I no longer have any of my tools set up because of reinstalls, new computers, etc. I have ideas for this stage, and I want to work on it, but right now I don't have anything set up, and I have been working on other projects alongside work and school. It very could live on through the Bumper Engine instead of being a mod, but we will see.
I still have faith you’ll finish this, one day! Please continue!

MistralGale Gaming Uhm.. Route 99 wasn't from Sonic Battle

Sonic.exe is looking for your location
Exeller (spirits of hell)
Nothing wrong with changing one's naming conventions.
I think at the beginning sonic shud b running down to make it work with the music
Well It's About Freaking Time... Oh and great job
Yeah this is pretty much everything I wanted to say.

no doubt this mod is long dead
Nope. Just been busy with life and stuff.
you need to update those textures. i modernized and made them HD for an Altar Emerald stage i made. you want some?
Sean (SuperRiderTH) Well, I guess it's dead now.
The weird part is that I had the same platforming issue with the original stage (act 1).
When will this be finished?

Like sonic exe soh
Is it finished now?
Is this mod dead? I agree with the other comments regarding layout and pacing. Nice job on the OST though!
